Now this is Nightwish. Floor is using her range than most of the entire last album then in just one song. It's wild, the drums are louder, it sounds better than the previous 2 albums, the sudden solo isn't expected or typical, the lyrics are really good-feeling fresher than in a while, as well as the style and execution. I'd say this is the best Nightwish song since "Storytime" was released as a single and I hope they use Floor's full range on this one and really allow that to soar while having other new ideas in store for us. Thanks for posting this as now I can remember the lyrics better not after 50 repeat listens and still be missing a line like I did back when "storytime" came out actually!

Well, good news, I can lift that burden of yours! There is no possibility for such thing as AI domination in the foreseeable future. It takes A LOT OF WORK - a LOT OF HUMAN WORK - to keep a machine - ANY machine - running for a prolonged amount of time. So unless these AIs plan to man all those related factories and powerplants from the get go, they can forget about taking over. You can sleep easy.
@terraristit37524 жыл бұрын
@@KashjNaradaaq Exactly. Besides, AI itself cannot do *anything* other than what it's programmed to do. So unless someone programs billions of overly complicated, state of the art robots that have all the knowledge of *all possible human defenses and weaknesess,* and also somehow programs them to *change their own code at will,* AI taking over is completely impossible. I'm and indie game developer, and I personally find AI's super interesting! For one of my projects, one of my goals *is* to specifically push the AI to it's limits and make the NPC's mimic sentience as much as possible, with tons of stats, advanced interaction capabilities both with the player and other NPC's, tens of different "personalities," "interests," "traits," heck, even their favourite and least favourite foods and drinks! (I haven't yet started this "Advanced AI" part of the project, however). But when I *do* start it, I'm not going to be afraid of those NPC's taking over the game once I get them done, since I have complete control over them and I am not going to give them the ability to "take over the game," wich is such a ridiculously complex concept that it's impossible to program anyway.

Literally, 2 things: 1) Kai's drums feel *a lot* heavier. I feel like Jukka tuned his drums for this album. 2) This song has a "Once" or "Dark Passion Play" feel to it, at least for me.
@mikemorrison5594 жыл бұрын
Yes, drums are definitely louder than the last album. I was hoping it would be. I was pretty disappointed with the drum sound on that one. Too soft .
@sakuhellstorm4 жыл бұрын
Kai has been drum tech on the albums Jukka played drums for so I highly doubt that. It's more about the mix which is a lot more band focused with less orchestrations than on EFMB.
