WOW, Floor does a HELL l of job with her stunning vocal range. She gives and receives energy at the same time when performing on stage. You can see she loves it. love the new songs from Human :II: Nature, but the older gems are unforgettable. Thanks for posting. I'm Dutch but being Finnish and living in Finland seems to have its advantages :)

Tough song to sing at that tempo even for Floor. She rocks it of course ! Figuring out how to sing Markos parts with the requisite grit and singing her normal part is a work in progress. I’m sure she may tweak it here and there as they play more shows. Still, it was a marvelous performance!

It is difficult for Floor to do both parts because it requires a vocal transition that is tough on the vocal chords. If Nightwish can't get her help on this song, they should just drop it from the setlist. This is one of my favorite Nightwish songs, so that is a big ask, but I don't want Floor to have vocal problems down the road.

I think that floor knows very well what she can do and what might not be feasible for her voice. but she can go either way with her possibilities that it seems almost unreal. she is a real professional athlete who takes care of her voice very well

@@mkgym Listen to Floor in 2013, and listen to her now. Her vocals are not as smooth, and singing Marko Hietala's parts have huge potential to harm her voice. This is similar to the stress on Steve Augeri's voice that forced him to depart Journey. How anyone can listen to this song live and not hear the stresses on Floor's vocal chords is beyond me. Perhaps being a lifelong vocalist gives me a different perspective, but it is obvious. For the same reason, I did not like her growling on "Yours is an Empty Hope" live. That is a killer on the vocal cords.

@@mkgym If they keep this song on the setlist, they should use a "helper" vocal for Marco's parts. That is, have a male vocalist backsing those parts so Floor can remain in a higher octave. Floor actually loses it on one vocal high and has to push through at several other times. That shows stress. She has a great voice, and I'd like it to stay that way.

@Tenyo Georgiev I understand your points, but I disagree. It is not just the Wacken Open Air clips; it is all of the live clips as well. Even at the end of the last tour, Floor's voice was having some trouble. I absolutely love how Floor sings. Her voice is wonderful, and I'd rather she keep it as long as possible. I have been a singer for decades, and I know many professional singers. They will all tell you this is hard on her vocal chords, and I am sure she knows it too. If Nightwish cannot get a male singer to round out those parts, they are doing her a disservice.

@@Too-Odd At first I was thinking the same thing as you, but I've since checked out a few other fancam videos from this performance and the AFAS show. A lot of the 'strain' we're hearing is actually due to the low quality, amateur grade equipment being used to record the shows. I shoot a lot of videos, somewhere between 250 and 300 a year and my gear is 'prosumer', the quality range that covers the upper end of the amateur ranks and the lower end of the pro videographers. There is a big gap in audio quality between what my mics and mixer can record vs. the typical results produced by a camera or phone mic. These cheap mics are optimized for the mid ranges where most conversation occurs. They can't handle upper and lower extremes like better audio gear can. So when we listen to a high belt from Floor recorded by a phone, she will sound screechy and strained simply because much of her sound is not being picked up by these cheap mics. We hear in the video only part of the sound she is actually producing. Listen to her voice recorded on half-decent amateur gear (as has been used in some of these vids) and she sounds a lot better. Wait until we hear her recorded by the Nightwish techs and she will sound like she just stepped off the stage from Wacken. There's a huge gulf in audio quality between pro gear and a phone mic, so I'd suggest we reserve judgment until we can hear her on a quality recording.

Oh god, this is the fitst time I've heard Floor not sounding healthy. Please don't do this to your voice. 4:07 notice how she lost breath. This is not good. She should be to professional to do this to herself.
