"I'm talking too much". That's what we're here for. The "wow, best song ever, support me on Patreon" type of reaction gets old really fast. You pay attention to the lyrics, you gave credit to the drummer, you appreciate the complexity of the composition, which is the main thing making Nightwish unique and separating it from most other bands. That's the proper way of doing a reaction video. Even the heaviest and fastest Nightwish songs are still melodic and don't sound like a noisy mess, all due to Tuomas' talent as a composer. The only reason the band managed to survive the firing of the two previous vocalists and keep going was because the music was exceptional, while the vocalists weren't. They were good, but not out of this world. Well, it changed about 10 years ago. Now we have a perfect combination of a genius songwriter and a phenomenal singer who can sing anything he comes up with.

Well said. I can just support what you described. We love Floor and NW. And her Committment is out of this world - see South Amercia tour knowing about her disease - and delivering all she is able to do.

You are absolutely right; Tuomas knows how to write beautiful stories and Floor is probably the best storyteller.This paired with the great compositions is the trademark of Nightwish.With Tuomas and Floor, two musical geniuses have met, as there is probably no second time in today's world.By the way, I don't think you're talking too much. Great reaction....as already said....we want to hear what you think and feel..... If you get sucked into the monitor and feel it.....this is the indication that your lost your soul to the Band and the Goddess. She is out of this world... And all of the Band-members are absolutely very great musicians everyone a great master on his instrument and play exactly what is needed for the song.....and they have a lot of fun doing it...

All I can tell you is, in the immortal words of Bachman Turner Overdrive, "you ain't seen nothing yet". This is just the beginning. Eventually you will hear Floor singing jointly with the bass player, Marco and you will be amazed again. The drummer has been replaced by Kai Hahto because he suffered insomnia, but Kai is amazing too. Try Song of Myself and Ghost River from this show, 7 Days to the Wolves from Wembley 2015, and Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean from Buenos Aires 2018 (you'll love Kai drumming in that!) And you start to see a little more. But Sleeping Sun from Masters of Rock and While Your Lips Are Still Red from Wembley 2015 for a softer side.

I like each and every song, with each and every singer. Nightwish never gets old or boring. If you want pure joy, look at I want my tears back from 2018 Buenos Aires concert. If you want heavy : Song of myself, or Weak fantasy. You react, I will be here to enjoy.

Half the fun of watching new Nightwish reactors is seeing how long it takes them to remember their mouth is hanging open! I'm relatively new to Nightwish (very early 2022) but I've listened to them over and over and still catch myself needing to close my mouth. Loved when you kept saying "wow". Please don't worry about talking too much - we are here to get your reaction. Your analysis was wonderful. Your interpretation of the lyrics was great. It's a theme Tuomas comes back to over and over. Last Ride of the Day actually refers to the day's last ride at a theme park. It's lovely that you're noticing more than just Floor. She is amazing, but sometimes new reactors get stuck on her performance and forget the rest of the band. Each of them deserves recognition - past and present members. Many of the songs have captioned versions available, and some songs like The Greatest Show on Earth are better when you know what the lyrics are (that one is about the formation of the universe and earth and includes some scientific terms, which can be hard to understand without the lyrics). But some captioned versions may not be the best quality for sound and editing. I'd suggest finding a lyric website (I use www.azlyrics.com/n/nightwish.html ) that you can refer to at any time. Tuomas' lyrics are just too wonderful and intricate to miss. Really looking forward to your next Nightwish reaction. Every song is different - the genres change (ballad, jazz, heavier metal, etc.); the tone changes with the different lead singers (the first singer Tarja is quite operatic, the second singer Anette is more pop, and Floor sings everything); Marko, who played bass but left for health reasons in January 2021, sings second vocals and sometimes lead and is amazing; and Troy sings backup vocals (except on Harvest) and plays an amazing number of interesting instruments. I'm rambling now and will stop before I've filled the entire page.

Yes Floor Jansen is that good. Only with Nightwish ten months and every song written for previous two singers and she improves almost every one. Also has her own KZbin channel where she sings covers by so many different artists and it's exceptional.

It is History and Fiction and Science Fiction and Medieval and Comforting as it pulls away the blanket we wrap our most fragile minds in. Listen and smile. Heya from the north of Germany 🇩🇪 Floor's voice is amazing, love it. Another unbelievable voice : please react to Dimash Kudaibergen singing "Ogni Pietra" from the Arnau Concert and the song "Adagio" from the singer competition 2017.
