Dreams come true!!! Me and lot of my friends dreamed about Floor singing in Nightwish sice Tarja left our lovely symphonic band. How I wish to Floor to stay in Nightwish further....they are ABSOLUTELY INSANE together))))))!!!

I used to like Anette's voice, but Floor Jansen was and is my favorite female metal singer of all time. So, see her having fun with the guys is so amazing. And is also fine to see a member of a band that's truly enjoying what he or she is doing, like Floor does. She is a real metalhead!

With Floor, in a matter of days they have more chemistry than they EVER had with Anette. They aren't quite where they used to be, but at least now they CAN reach that level again if they work at it.

In my humble opinion; we cannot call ourselves "fan" of a band if we get all crazy because one of the members quit/got fired/die/born/give birth/etc, etc. Since we are so proud of being "their" fans we should respect their decision and listen; if we like the result, good, if not, that's just our opinion. ¨ You're so right about the commercial business behind this, sad but real thing. Let's make clear that some are very immature and selfish yet we're humans (after all), Sorry for the speech :(

I Love Nettie and Tarja too. But Floor was a Godsend!! The tour could've gone to hell but the band never stopped kicking ass. Nightwish ROCKS!!

Besides bringing the band down and not performing well, Anette wanted to cancel a bunch of concerts, and thought of herself as a superstar who was irreplacable. If she had been even halfway as talented as Tarja, she might have had reason to think of herself as a superstar, but she wasn't. Floor is WAY more talented, is much easier on the eyes, and performs like she's been in the band for years even though she's been in it for less than a week. Best decision Nightwish has made in years.

That's why Anette was pissed at the band for going on with the show in Denver without her, comparing herself to Rihanna and Britney Spears, thinking one wouldn't substitute for the other, so why should SHE be replaced for one show. Hell, Epica replaced Simone Simons for an entire tour when she was ill, and Simone IS a superstar, yet didn't bitch about it, and is still in the band.

You know - I wasn't disappointed with Annette. Unless you're some kind of Goddess, you have limitations to your voice. That said... Floor is such a Goddess, and I'm excited to see an intellectual curiosity play out in reality: "Oh wow... After Forever has an awesome vocalist... wonder what she'd sound like guest-singing with Nightwish." So far, they are set up to violate the Planck Music Constant and shatter the laws of physics. I await their universe-destroying album.

I love Floor and have for years, and I've always wondered how she would sound with Nightwish. She sounds fantastic, but it seems like she's holding back. I'd like to see her let loose like she did in live shows with After Forever. I'm going to miss Anette as much as I miss Tarja. :(

D: because NW just will end when Tuomas says so, otherwise, it'll keep on. Tarja was the image and many got all mad and crazy about it but, the soul? That's Tuomas. Floor did a nice job, she sounds a little nasal though, i think she caught a cold, who knows. What I didn't like was her Scaretale performance, I think it's a hard song for a light voice type singers but gonna wait, might be practice :)

Annete is a very good person, and I feel for her for being out of the band. But I gotta confess: I prefer the Floor`s vocals, and in this videos she`s sounding like Annete. Floor sounding like Floor would be 1000x better!

Floor's voice fits the Nightwish melodic pattern as good as Tarja's. But Anette's voice was considerably weaker, thus she has temporarily crippled the band's fine art. Now we all see and listen... The great band is glowing bright again, bright as a damn blazar.

Nightwish is a band, with beautiful music and lyrics; without them, the singer would be nothing but a pretty or ugly voice (depending on the opinion of the listeners). Neither Tarja nor Anette deserved to be higher than Nightwish itself in my opinion at least.

Folks like you would be chanting HEP HEP HEP if Tuomas decided to dress Justin Bieber in a mini-skirt and have him sing Amaranth while dancing a jig. Myself, I enjoy hearing EXCELLENT music performed by EXCELLENT musicians. Nightwish USED to be an EXCELLENT band when they had Tarja, but with Anette they sounded more like a small nightclub act with a so-so singer, and didn't really seem to have any chemistry.

I have been such a hardcore Nightwish fan and loved Anette and Tarja's voices alike, but I've been trying to listen to Floor in the band for the past few hours and it just doesn't sound right to me. In my opinion, she wouldn't be the best choice. I feel like people love her because she sounds closer to Tarja than Anette did.

Yup; comparing her would be equally than acting like the stupid who criticised insanely hard DPP (neither made for the singer's voice i mean). Yet i think Floor shall be able to produce the nasal sound some day, eventually (if she want to...) Agree, would be seriously sad if NW returns to the diva's era. I am not a fan of Floor so, i'll see how this develops, but i really hope that doesn't happen.

I think Floor can sing in styles that Tarja wouldn't be so good at, judging from her vocals in After Forever against Tarja's vocals in NW and her own solo career. She can nail DPP and later songs and sing them better than Anette, and she has a way more powerful and passonate voice than Anette, plus better stage presence. I think Tarja still has the edge in classical vocals on certain songs, she's probably had better training and more consistant practice. And on those songs Tarja excels.
