All of the different singers had their own styles that came out in the band when they were present. Tarja had a powerful operatic voice which led to songs like Nemo and Wish I had an Angel. Anette had a faster and more delicate voice, which provided a good contrast to the usual heavy style of the band. Floor just fucking works, which is why I would say she's my "favorite." Although, it isn't really fair to say which is better since they were so different. I think what would make more since is to say who fits the songs better, not about who is a better songer. As much as I love Floor though, I have to say this is Anette's song.

Makes me think of back when I lived by a river, and had a little sailboat. It leaked, but luckily had an inner hull so it was just more ballast. I'd sail down that river in the morning and not come back until nearly sundown. I'd have the occasional mishap, but there was only one time I didn't make it back until after dark. Oh, I would have, but the wind died a little early. Mostly. I'd get a breath here and there, just enough to make headway against the gentle current. I was making it. I had to shake my head when my dad came out to "rescue" me in the canoe. He'd tried that before one time when we lived by a lake instead and I got caught in the lee of an island. He flipped the canoe. This time he'd gotten it down though. I still didn't think he should've risked it. I was doing fine. Slow but steady, and it was really peaceful.

This song really is a lyrical masterpiece... However the album version are so well... digitalized. Regardless who sings it, be it Floor or Anette, the chorus completely pales to the live versions(Any singer). Anette did it with such a huge smile in her bright tone, Floor also does it with a huge amount of energy and a smile... but what really makes the chorus stand out is Marco's sheer power. I know that the album has a theme and much of Anette's sound are digitalized to fit that "style" and Marco's not allowed to sing from the top of his lungs due to him breaking peoples sound equipment... but... yeah I sort of feel it's pretty lacklusting after hearing it live five times.

+Maria Clara Mejia The soundtrack for the movie actually was the album. Which in my opinion makes the movie even better.

This song popped into my head after shutting my bounds to this world. A lot of people, especially those that do the work to heal others or help others, they take a beating. And then they chew themselves suffer, but what they don't realize is this is why. Because they hold this on their shoulders. And after I shed these chains, the song popped in my head, and this is not a song I listen to often, although this is going to change. This is what life is about. It's like Bilbo coming back home from his adventure in The Hobbit.

Titanninjaen Then you clearly have not liked this enough. Though only 198 people have found out how, we must listen for hours on end till one day, we will find out how.
