There's a reason why Kuro always believes on Tide TA it's just like W33 used to say it. Those 2 does provides everything. Ta can push fast, Tide provides huge teamfight aoe, Ta can burst squishy heroes, Ta can solo rosh and many more things can be achieved by these 2 heroes. The problem here is most these 2 need blinks. A 2500 gold item that give absolute 0 stats and Notail is a genius for picking Chen in both game 1 and 2 he single handedly rendered Miracle burst useless. And the Beastmaster on game 3 now that's some spicy stuff because of the boars TA requires refraction to stay in fights Ceb just removes it completely.

So question still remain, why must it be TA and Tide, they have their own usefulness but all other hero also have their own usefulness. So thing that really make difference is whether this two hero has special kind of synergy, unfortunately i don't see how tide specifically benefit TA in any way.

@@tylim88 Ta is a range type hero that has quite a short range of attacks Tide can act as Ta meat shield while dishing out damages also tide gush gives Ta an extra damage to burst down opponents. Ta has better synergy with tanker that can provide slow rather than stuns and Tide can provide both. You should try it out yourselves the Synergy between these 2 is actually good. The way that tide Ta works is somewhat like how Magnus and Ursa works just like how Magnus can buff up any melee carry Ursa just benefits the most from empower on how he can shreds his enemy within seconds. The interactions between Tide and Ta is relatively the same thing. You could say if providing a minus armor Slardar could do it better but tide just dishes out a better outcome as a meat shield and as a massive initiator threat. Supposedly on these types of combo interactions you would require a good game and their plan was good on drafting this if Ta got the burst on Chen OG just lacks the healing factor to sustain in a prolonged team fights but Notail position on the Chen was just top tier.

I was just about to comment this. I feel like OG always run experiments throughout the season. Last anti major, OG had a lot of weird lineups. They probably gather all of that data and figured out a lot of things. It makes sense that this is not their main strategy. They probably have 6 lineups ready for TI and we probably havent seen them yet. Keep in mind, they can create new strategies base on their performance in these qualifiers.

OG . What a team . Kudos. Their team play is just so refreshing. I was a Nigma fan. I have now understood that Watching from previous series is that Nigma always play tradionally and pick only limited heroes. Whereas OG play style is flamboyant. Have become a fan of their style now. Nigma needs to change their play style.
