Her evolution is palpable, her range improving with each scene she’s in really stood out to me this season. @@odessaaubry8681 It is a feature film based on a very popular novel. It’s about a well off woman who falls out of love with her husband and begins an affair with the estate gatekeeper. Ella will play her new best friend/neighbor. Saw bts pics from when she and Emma were filming in October and the costumes are great. Poor Ella isn’t getting rid of period dresses any time soon haha! I highly reccomend you read the book, it’s amazing!

Hailee and Ella's scenes as Emily and Sue are full of emotions and sexual tension that I refused to believe that both of them are straight. It conveyed emotions beyond their characters. It all came down to a conclusion when Ella came out as queer. I think in a way Hailee and Dickinson helped her love herself more.

I love this show - like it's completely unhinged but rooted in real characters really going through stuff. I will say, though, that the ending didn't feel all that satisfying to me (probably in large part because it kinda pissed me off that Emily never actually went and talked to Higginson after the big deal he made about wanting to meet her).
