Path to Deicide is a Sonic.exe series of Friday Night Funkin' songs. It primarily features two EXE characters known as Sl4sh and Fatal Error, the latter being less of an EXE now and more of an original concept. Sl4sh's songs were created by the one and only MarStarBro, who has also created Too Slow, You Can't Run, Triple Trouble, Faker, and more. Fatal Error's song, Fatality, was created by Saster, who is a major FNF producer responsible for many popular songs including Game Over, Too Slow Encore, Atrocity, and Mismatch (love Mismatch). Oh by the way, if you want a medal click here. He's also worked on very prominent FNF mods such as Indie Cross, Sonic.exe (of course), Hypno's Lullaby, Vs. Impostor V4, Corruption, and Entity. Another EXE featured in PtD is Requital. He was created by CommandoDev and his song, Forestall Desire, was made by Armydillo. Army is also well-known for creating other Sonic.exe songs such as Prey, which is a song from the Starved week. Another featured EXE, though not an EXE in name, is Majin Sonic. Majin has been a very popular figure within the Sonic the Hedgehog community because of his mysterious appearance in Sonic CD. He has gained extra popularity from the EXE community because of his uncanny nature. He features in one of the most well-known FNF songs of all time, Endless, created by the aforementioned MarStarBro. New Endless is better you twerps. No More Innocence is well known for his appearance in the song Fakebaby, which is a part of Churgney Gurgney/Sturm's Hit Single Real. Hit Single is also responsible for the major FNF hit, Silly Billy. I'll make you say how proud you are of me, so stay awake just long enough to see my way. I find it a nice touch that Sl4sh and Fatal Error turn down NMI because of how cruel and horrible he can be. He’s not a faux god. He’s a demon in Angel’s Robes… …and that piano at the end… good god, is it beautiful. Not only is it sad because Sl4sh and Fatal Error leave him to just… be him, I guess. But also because it’s the perfect way to end a grand story that has become so… magnificent… Like you once said, GasGrass… you promised us greatness… and by the Lord above, you have… but the rest… is truly up to us… rise up, my friends. My family. My enemies. All of us, together, are creative in our own way. GasGrass has reached the end creating of the starting point… but this is not the end. It is only the beginning. Genuinely a good ass ending to Path to Deicide. Not counting deicide itself, this is one of the longer songs in the full album, and it does NOT dissapoint. First, their denial of even allying with NMI. Every other denial has been due to unfortunate timing, circumstance, or past conflicts. This one, BOTH sl4sh and fatal agree that NMI is horrible, and refuse to ally, even if NMI was willing. I love how every denial has been for different reasons, and this one was entirely by Boths volition. I also love how talking and lyrics are greatly integrated. Although excresence already did lyrics, I love how these ones are different. Excresense went for a rap style while this one went to pull at the emotional chords. Genuinely a good song to end off the series on. I will be waiting for the full album.

As somebody who has never heard NMI's story/lore, this is sick as HELL. Sadly there wasnt a mention besides a name drop from Picopine and Wacky, but Picopine didnt need to be here for NMI to absolutely demolish any other songs. I have no complaints at ALL. After an entire year of talking down a self-proclaimed god and recruiting others to kill said god, it all ends here. Sl4sh and Fatal Error had found their last entity to recruit. This was honestly the best way to conclude the series, the song was absolutely majestic and absolutely gave finale vibes! I’m so so happy to have got into PtD (since Deicide) to have witnessed these outstanding creations. On a serious note, this series has carried me through so many moments and has left a huge impression upon me and most likely many others. It’s been a huge motivation and a huge inspiration too and I cannot be more grateful for finding a gem of a series like this. Wow. I'm speechless. I think this is the highest this series has ever reached. The music and artwork are impeccable, as always, but the message it conveys is also a perfect ending. NMI is, so far, the first entity to be formally rejected by Sl4sh and Fatal as he has decided to submit to a greater power. It feels like that kind of secret boss RPGs have, an enemy that represents the opposite of what the protagonists are, even though he is not the main antagonist and, like these bosses, it is usually a battle that is fought after defeating the final boss (in this case, Xeno). I don't know if I'm the only one who sees the parallel, lol. The dialogues at the end give me goosebumps and NMI's voice is perfect, it's unbelievable that they all share the same voice actor. First of all, thank you for creating such a wonderful series. I was so excited from the beginning to the end. I got interested in Path to Deicide through Facetious and really enjoyed it. I can't stop getting goosebumps. Although this song is intense, it also feels calm somehow, as if saying goodbye to Fatal and SL4SH. I don't want to believe this series is over, but this is the perfect song to end it with. I was also happy that NMI spoke Japanese. And the final conversation and the piano playing in the background also give me goosebumps. As always, your songs, art, voices, and visualizers are truly amazing. I sincerely respect you. And since we got DX after epilogue mix, and NMI won the poll for the final song of the album, it simply came down to a 50/50 on wether cyclops or wacky came out first. Hence the asspull

I like the overall similarity to Silly Billy the feel of this song has in some sections, if anything to be a reference to this character sharing the same mod. While not outright sharing any distinct melodies or leitmotifs, it just feels familiar, which I find pretty cool. Especially the melody No More Innocence sings in the beginning section, and then the lyrical version in the later half, similar to how Silly Billy structures the same pattern. Also: The 3:14 section was awesome.

For those who don't know, Iris is an/the AI that created the Fatal Copies, a species created by her. Fatal Error is also a part of this species. (For more info, please check the EXE Wiki or the EXE Fandom). 2. If you hear closely, you can hear a "crowd" singing beside No More Innocence in the lyrics section. 3. Beside Gas claiming that the Path to Deicide is canon (no offense), this version of No More Innocence behaves slightly different than the one depicted in the Wiki(s). No More Innocence (usually) like to torture his victim (usually children) psychologically instead of physically (the beam and stuff). 4. Pretty much every part of the lyric is foreshadowing No More Innocence's lore. Except the servants part.

From what I got from this and with the knowledge I have of NMI NMI thinks by making all his targets addicted with playing Sonic, he is essentially "saving them from nihility", which I'd guess it's an allusion to the hardships of life (Which is further emphasized by the "It will set them free from the pain of reality" line). But he doesn't appear to be doing this by his own will, but rather by the demand of a being who promised him a "purpose in life". If I were to guess, this entity is the False God, who turned NMI into something akin to a Cultist, who'd carry on his legacy after he dies. I'd imagine Xeno is manipulating NMI into thinking he is setting everyone he is targetting free, when in reality, he is only furthering his plans of bloodshed

God, where to start? I was randomly listening to Sonic.exe FNF songs when I randomly came across Apochronal (and, in turn, your channel) sometime after its release and decided to listen to it; I've been hooked since. It's been one heck of a ride and I'm glad to see this project come to completion when so many FNF -EXE projects have crashed and burned. First, the art; I love how it's mostly monochrome but changes to red and black during certain parts of the song. It fits considering this is No More Innocence involved here. Second, maybe it's just me, but it sounds like you've improved your Fatal Error voice since Facetious; it sounds great! Also, I don't know if that was intentional, but I love how Fatal sounded like a Dalek when he said "EXTERMINATE." The lore drops! I haven't seen a lot of people talk about Iris despite the fact that she's Fatal's mother. I'm so glad you mentioned her! And hearing NMI's original name was gold. Finally, the song itself. It's incredible! The dialogue is perfect and the lyrics are incredible! The song seems to imply that NMI was one of the toughest opponents Sl4sh and Fatal fought, aside from Xenophyte. As another commenter pointed out, unlike other failed recruits, the god killers decided not to ally with NMI; considering NMI's lore, I don't blame them. Sl4sh and Fatal maybe evil, but even they have some lines they won't cross. Sad that we may not see Sl4sh and Fatal together again after what Sl4sh's creator said but I'm happy to see that they went out with a bang.

I have no words to say how imposing this song is, you can feel the atmosphere of tension in many sections and most importantly, we had the end of Paith To Deicide, it was a pleasure to accompany this series since Apochronal. This was a great ending and the references I could detect were Silly Billy (obviously), Bold Or Brash, Obituary and Fakebaby, but there may be many more, that I didn't detect the first time.
