a genuine question: why is it translated as "read the room"? wouldn't "atmosphere" fit better?(by extension of the original word 空気 which can also mean "air) the aim of the game is to read the mood/atmosphere and act accordingly as to not be out of place or behave awkwardly. as i am still studying Japanese, please forgive me if this was a foolish question.
