The fact that there is an official upload of a high-effort music vid of a hit 80s song that's over a decade old with less than 100k views makes me feel like I've stumbled on a seam in reality

One of my favorite songs of all time, hands down. When I first heard this, I knew right away Nik really knows his stuff about music theory and composition. Such unique cords and rhythms here. Every time I listen, I pick out new things. Plus, absolute genius to write gibberish lyrics on a time crunch and call it a riddle. Nik is such a talented artist and deserves so much more recognition. Huge fan!

Yeah, the lyrics, or so I read were throwaway segments from past songs thus why it doesn't make too much sense. Then again, was he writing avant garde music and we didn't know it at the time?

Gosh - I haven’t listened to this song since I was a teenager but immediately I’m reminded it was one of my favourites - clearly I remember all the words from playing and singing it over and over.

I got two strong arms blessings of Babylon Time to carry on and try for sins and false alarms So to America the brave Wise men save Near a tree by a river There's a hole in the ground Where an old man of Aran Goes around and around And his mind is a beacon in the veil of the night For a strange kind of fashion There's a wrong and a right But he'll never, never fight over you I got plans for us, nights in the scullery And days instead of me I only know what to discuss Oh for anything but light Wise men fighting over you It's not me you see pieces of valentine And just a song of mine to keep from burning history Seasons of gasoline and gold Wise men fold Near a tree by a river There's a hole in the ground Where an old man of Aran Goes around and around And his mind is a beacon in the veil of the night For a strange kind of fashion There's a wrong and a right But he'll never, never fight over you I got time to kill sly looks in corridors Without a plan of yours a blackbird sings on bluebird hill Thanks to the calling of the wild Wise mens child Near a tree by a river There's a hole in the ground Where an old man of Aran Goes around and around And his mind is a beacon In the veil of the night For a strange kind of fashion There's a wrong and a right But he'll never, never fight There's a hole in the ground Where an old man of Aran Goes around and around And his mind is a beacon in the veil of the night For a strange kind of fashion There's a wrong and a right But he'll never, never fight over you No he'll never, never fight over you

I think it's criminal that this original song and music video has such few views and likes while a cover of this song by another big musician with a video with less effort put in it has a crazy amount of views. Also the cover doesn't shout out the original or link to the original which doesn't sit right with me.
