What are these options? Allt should be nominated for AOTY, Singer, Drummer and probably bassist too. ERRA hardly present also. Northlane made couple bangers which could fit into Song or Collab of the year. It is weird given how Allt was hyped and rightly so, and much more niche picks like MIRAR (which was great IMO) are nominated in more categories.

I still think, maybe for next year, we need more streamlined nominations. A max of like 5-10 nominations for each category. And maybe have a panel of people in the scene (you know and have contact with a lot of people) come together to make nominations, like most award shows. Doing these things will fix the "Sleep Token problem" where just one artist sweeps all the awards.

I think it would be nice to have an open vote form for like a month where people can send their suggestions (with links and timestamps so it'll be easier), from that you can gauge the nominees (either by choosing the ones that were suggested the most or maybe some that were suggested like once but it was impressive enough to deserve at least a shoutout), that way we could even get more international artists represented, there are some amazing ones that aren't viral enough to be all that known outside of their home country That leaves me to my next suggestion, a multilingual category for songs that are in a different language. Think babymetal, sepultura, apócrypha, just to name a few off the top of my head. I commented before about having a playlist with the nominees, one for each category would be great so people can hear the ones maybe they're unfamiliar with, which happened to me as I'm not all that familiar with the newer stuff 🥲
