Then, he would stand up again, regain his balance, and thank God for "calming the steel cable." In the documentary about his walk across the Grand Canyon, every step he took on the steel cable was a testament to everyone watching at that moment and in the future, showing how he relied on the power of Jesus Christ.

From what I’ve read, wearing the harness has not been his choice. The one exception is the walk he did with Lijana after her recovery from the 8 person fall. That time he did it because he wanted his sister to be safe.

That would have been it. He is not wearing a harness of any kind. His grandfather died in 1978 in Puerto Rico entertaining children who could not afford the show. The wind got him.

He had no idea how wind off the ocean would be funneled between where he was halfway, but the loose cable.made it even more of an issue to balance as well.
