When strong winds swept through the canyon, causing the steel cable to sway, he would pause and crouch down. Then, he would stand up again, regain his balance, and thank God for "calming the steel cable." In the documentary about his walk across the Grand Canyon, every step he took on the steel cable was a testament to everyone watching at that moment and in the future, showing how he relied on the power of Jesus Christ.
