The singing is brutal. Cake a week later? If you're in a bad situation, OK get it. You discuss with the kids that we are having a late bday celebration. And you definitely don't film it. But we all know NIika was more concerned with the Bingo hall than her babies. The kids look bored and sad. Poor baby can't even feel special once a year on her bday. Shameful!!!

Right! Last year we spent a pretty good amount on a cake and party for our kiddo. This time around money is tight with not getting hubby's soc sec for several months and we are in the process of adopting this sweet grandchild. Man, adoption is expensive! I told her we are going to be tight this year, but I will still make sure she gets a cake and ice cream and a few presents but it won't be as much as last year. Y'all, this sweet grand girl of mine is so mature for almost 11 and didn't get upset at all. I'm definitely going to make sure she gets her fav meal that night and that she feels loved amd special.

The most memorable gift ever received was a jar of Blow Pops with bills in between. A colorful bouquet of 17 suckers with 10 bills as the greenery for my 17th birthday. I'm 47 years old, and nothing has topped that.
