NIKE AIR 180 retro review, comparisons and thoughts on the upcoming 2024 release

I remember turning up to school one morning and seeing a crowd of kids all huddled together. I went over to see what was happening and in the middle of them was an older kid in a pair of the 180s. It blew my mind. It was awesome to see the air unit under the shoe. I'm only interested in getting the ultra marine. I'm not really bothered about any other colourways. But man, I'm so excited to get these. Next to the classic bw they're my favourite runners. I have the last release, but I need the og style air unit.🙌

When will they come 2024 ? Had all releases of this 180`s from 2004 till now. But i also remember, that the air sole was bigger in 1991. Can`t wait to buy the 180 with the big airbag only in ultramarine red ! No matter what the price is !

@TheRetroManRandySavage Had exactly the same experience in 1991 like you ! I was 13 years old then and a dude (15years old) was playing football in brand new 180`s in ultramarine red....... I would never have worn them to play football! For me, these shoes were from another planet and unattainable ! The only difference is that I can fortunately afford them today 🙂

I’m pretty hyped for this one. The Air 180 is still my favourite Nike model by a long shot. Saying that I recently sold a pair of 2004 retros. The sole was still intact too though the air bubble was shot. The buyer tried to complain as they crumbled as soon as he wore them. I pointed out that I stated in my auction that the they shouldn’t be worn as they were a 19 year old shoe. Great video though. I loved seeing the passion for this classic shoe.

The new shoe still looks good a bit different I love the air bubble look (looks more gray) but light effets on the old sample. I've all those old posters and panphlets for the 180 still and can't wait to see these back with their pumps and barley. I've still got a brand new pair here in cool gray

I love the Air Max 180, but i don't feel myself with this shape. The tongue looks too short and makes the shoe look really funny. I wear the black/ white/solar red before with a dynamic shape in style and open laces which was a big eyecatcher and really comfy with that long tongue. But i think i don't go straight with the OG model.

Hey man,have you seen the underfoot image of the new 180....looks to be a strange square shape going round the air unit.....very odd looking never seen anything like it on a 180 bubble

Worked all summer of '91 to get my pair of 180's and when I finally did they we're nothing short of magic. By the time I saved up enough, the UM was a goner so I went for the Bright Ceramic. A lesser god IMHO when it comes to colorways. When I bought the '18 UM they were so underwhelming. Almost fake. I for one CAN NOT WAIT for that '24 model to drop #takemymoney
