This mash up of an Air Max 1 and 97 by Sean Wotherspoon features a corduroy upper dressed in bright pastel shades that will be perfect for the coming spring and summer. These are the best looking pair of sneakers I've ever owned. I often feel bad for wearing them because I don't want to get them dirty lol. Not the most comfortable sneakers out there though.

Sean finally got the Sean hahahaha told you you'd get it eventually. Among all the hybrid Air max shoes, this is the most tolerable (and definitely the best looking one) out there for me. Took an L on a lot of raffles and contests for Air Max Day so I wasn't able to cop anything at all, even if my birthday just passed two days ago. Congrats!

Great review as usual Sean. I too, should have went down a half size but with having a wider foot, you may get away with going with your true size. Love my pair and will continue to wear it until the corduroy starts to fray.

Please explain to me how do you rate the comfort of a shoe if the outsole is completely pristine. If you don't actually wear them (outside) for a good few miles, I don't see how you can rate it in terms of comfort.

For performance shoes I agree but for a casual shoe like this? I don't see why you can't assess comfort after an hour of wearing them / walking around? The outsole is pristine when I took the footage (straight out of the box). I wear them afterwards.

Maybe not a thumb, but an index finger space. Lengthwise I probably could have done a full size down from my normal AM size but width wise it wouldn't be pretty lol

how can you comment on the comfort when you need to break any shoe in for them to be comfortable, its rare you get shoes straight out of the box that would be comfortable and not hurt after a while of walking, surely ?

Break in time for a performance sneaker, sure, but for a lifestyle casual-use shoe I wouldn't expect there to be a break in time. Most shoes I buy for casual use are pretty reflective of their comfort level from day 1.

Taking L's this month is overrated. I'm willing to bet 99% of us took L's on the raffles for these, the tinker 3, off white 1's and the game royals. Even took L's for the bred toes and those animal atmos shoes. Only way to really cop for sure is to camp which is like taking an L in itself. I think only lucky, bot users and rich people were able to cop these hype shoes this month.

I hate how companies over charge for shoes and only bring them out in limited quantities and become “collectibles”.
