I like videos for these kinds of shoes too. I bought the Keen WK400’s for my wife and my mother on your recommendation and they both love them. I’m interested in learning more about shoes for people who do a lot of standing or walking from the foot doctor perspective.

Dr. Thanks again for another great video. Here's my take, people, dont be fooled by nike's bs. That so called technology is just a typical air max unit without the side walls. While nike has good tech like zoom air, react and zoom x, their implementation and overall shoe designs are mostly crap. The nike of the 90s to mid 2000s is no more, and i dont mean that in a good way. Its like they are just putting stuff out there just to say they're in business but not the stuff to stay in business.

Air max hasn't been a performance shoe ever since they came out. Its widely know that theyre strictly lifestyle shoes, as he said in this video

I love this shoe, and the comfort of this shoe. I'm also on my feet literally all the time. I run a convenience store, and these shoes have a comfortability akin to the Air Max 2090. Nice and soft, and easy to wear. Their perfect for what I use them for.

Great review! I never had any airmax that didn't gave me foot pain, last one I had were the flyknit racers, and they were as bad so I thought never again! The DN's look interesting. though, I was on the verge of trying this one out, but from your inputs, its a hard "NO" then. Airmax's are never functional IMO... just for aesthetics.

I once had a comfortable pair of Air Max, the less popular "Air Max LTD" model. But no other air max could even come close to it

Maybe a long shot, but would you consider ever making a video on shoes you’d recommend for comfort while being durable for all day wear in a job that works with power equipment & random sharp stuff? I work at target & have been swapping between Ultraboost 22s which were great and Invincible 3s which were good but I’m obliterating parts of the foam when I accidentally hit the shoe with our heavier carts and just want something that I won’t destroy the foam. I’d do the 22s again but they’re discontinued. I also have some hokas but after 6 months one of the tread pieces on the bottom is loose because I drag. Size 14 4e / 15

What? Air Max definitely does. The air unit on the 97/98 is a brick in the forefoot, especially if you're not using super soft foam. These exact ones aren't that great under foot. I love Air Max but there are definitely models that suck.

Serious question tho, as a professional shoe doctor, you reviewed so many super comfortable shoes in your channel. Any specific reason you chose this one? Kind of surprised a little bit of your decision for comfort decision.

Your video lost me at 5 min due to argument that there was no performance improvements. I walk daily on the same 2.5 mile loop. Usually I can average 16-18 min miles. In these I got a 14:29 mile. Your opinion… but you’re wrong. I do like your delivery and video editing. Still left before 6 min.

This shoe is one of Nike's most lied about tech. From the inside, this shoe is no different than any other air max unit with the cross pillars. This shoe is all marketing. I have one pair and that's enough. The lack of forefoot air is also unacceptable.

Nike's continual cost cutting and going cheap on things such as removing air on retros and not even putting forefoot air on flagship Air Max models is one of the reasons their stock is tanking.
