Honestly bought these on a whim and I absolutely love them. Comfy af and the color is awesome. They never feel really tight on my foot tho even when they’re laced and zipped up, and I went my true foot length

I remember these kicks they're not for me at this point, but back in the day, I would've copped it's just too bulky in these times! And I'm no longer falling for the gimmicky air bubble because they don't make the kicks comfortable. I'd much more prefer NB or Asics for comfort!

Had the OG way back in 99. Same color. Fortunately, I got my size this time as well. Can't find my OGs (they're in the attic somewhere) but I think I remember the shroud being thinner and the laces were oval that had antislip which were shaped like eggs if that makes any sense. The shroud in this year's release is kinda thick, feels like neoprene. PS back in 99, wore them unzipped with shorts, zipped with (elephant) pants 😂

Copped with my tts, I have low instep so hopefully I can zip it all the way up while wearing them. I’m excited for these, and I am also looking forward to the Gore Tex ones releasing next year.

I gave up on sneakers with zip-up shroud long ago; they're almost never comfortable once zipped-up (if they can be zipped up at all). The only pair I'd kept is the Adidas Crazy Infinity 2.5, where the shroud is more cosmetic then functional.

I had to get these since it was my first ever sneaker into the Nike brand. Don't necessarily agree with the price point which I think is a bit high (here in Oz it's AU250), but because of sentimental reasons I needed to get a pair in my men's equivalent size. My OG Sunder at that time was a black/grey with royal blue highlights, when I first saw it I just thought the look is both futuristic and utilitarian.. even today.

I love the sunders but for me it's on a list of shoes I like but don't suit my feet. I missed out but I would have the same problem as you regarding the tightness around the zipper/lace
