I didn’t know about the sizing and was so disappointed worn I got mine but my daughter really likes them. She wears a woman’s 8 and they fit kinda loose but perfect with socks. She likes the height and squish but I think it’s because she likes platform shoes and such.

Good thing I only paid $20 for them. I’d like to see a lightstrike pro slide in the future. Personally, I’m very happy with my Temu $15 ‘feezee faux sheezee’ slides

@@jazzx001 Yes. Right now they are on sale on the Nike app. There is another discount they’ve added on top of the price drop. I just picked up a women’s blush pair for 32 dollars and some change. I would size up. I wear a 11 women or a 9.5 men’s and sized up all the way to a 12 women’s/10.5 men’s. Sizing up might alleviate some of the discomfort because the sizing run very small. So, pick these up now if you want them.

Thank you for being honest here. I watched a couple of other reviews praising these slides. I slipped these on and placed them right back in the box and mailed them back. I was super disappointed in the feel and almost no comfort. On my return I told Nike to try again and use Zoomx foam. I will credit Nike with those slides lasting a while. Between the bottoms being durable and not getting use due to being uncomfortable, they will last forever in a closet.

I had a similar experience when first trying them on , but I'm a week into wearing them and I have to disagree on this one. Fit and feel seems ok to me and the foam breaks in nicely. Overall I really like the look/simplicity of them with the added traction/durability.

definitely one of the heaviest slides I've worn. shape is narrow as well, had blisters on my right foot because of this. I'm a size 8, I tried the size 9 and it was too big for me so I bought a size 8, it's too narrow, but I still bought it under the assumption that the rubber's going to stretch but nah.

Got a size 12 and 13 in black, I'm usually a 12 TTS but glad I got the 13 because it fit wayyy better. Still didn't like the cushion and Hes is right, does not feel like a $50 slide. It does not seem to be made for my narrow feet. Ended up returning both.

I’m glad I waited for your review before pulling the trigger on these. I’m also a wide footer, flat footed too, so I do prefer some support in any of my footwear. So far my favorite slides are the Crocs Mellow and the Puma Shibui Cat. Both are sufficiently soft and squishy but do not feel unstable.

So for those that don’t know, even with wear, they’ll still blister. EVA is non breathable and causes your foot to sweat. Moderate degrees of moisture increases friction on the skin therefore blistering the foot

I wish more slides were adjustable. I have a very wide foot and while I can make narrow shoes work by stretching them out, for the majority of these kinds of slides because of the materials, it’s impossible, and I can barely even get them on my foot. Anyone reading this, have you tried the new Airmax one slides? I really want that pair but I feel like it’s just going to be an instant return because there won’t be enough width for me.

yup gonna have to disagree with this one. too negative. when I saw the vid, I was like “let me go see for myself what they feel like.” I went to foot locker and they felt odd at first but honestly after walking around in them for like 2 minutes, I bought them. they felt really comfy and I really dig the look of them. now after like a 2 weeks of using em regularly, I can confidently say that they are worth the $50 I spent. very happy I bought them. I copped the sesame colorway and I couldnt be more satisfied with a slide.

I'm 11.5 to 12. I got 12 and they fit. Comfort is a 3 of 10. Totally feel like concrete on my feet, and those ridges on the footbed make it so much worse. Also, I'm flat-footed, and these have a high arch. Makes them cause more pain.

It’s amusing to me to see how someone that reviews shoes for a living can be so out of touch with footwear. I have the exact same slides you have. Black, size 10 and I’m a true size 10 so they fit snug. But maybe that’s your problem, that you went for what you think comfort would be (larger size to give your foot space) but I find that the true size locks your foot in place and keeps your foot pretty stable. Again, stability being a gripe of yours. This whole video has vague cons (looks weird, fits weird, isn’t a yeezy). So yeah, it’s not a Yeezy and if that’s what you prefer on foot, wear that and say that. But to be negative about a good product simply because it’s not what you want/expect is a bad take.

Agreed. This guy was way off. The calm slides are amazing. They're actually better than yeezy slides because yeezy slides are almost TOO soft, so they don't provide any stability. These slides were soft and very solid and stable and they look great. I sized up to 12 from 11 in black and they fit me so perfectly and were really comfortable. He's kicks just has a hate boner out for these for no reason and then wants to try and push a bunch of whack alternatives lmao

I agree 100 percent! I don’t find stability an issue. Maybe work on your balance lol. It’s not a Yeezy. It’s also not as bulky as a Yeezy. Funny thing is the echo looked exactly the same in video when walking or moving around. Back to the calm slides. They are definitely comfortable. Made of foam what else would you expect. They don’t move around on my feet but also think he should have got a size correct with his foot. They are true to size

Man....I'm sorry. I try to stay out of comments but the slide bashing was too much. I watched this review and try it yourself. Some others on here all just d riding without giving them a shot. I just got mines and tried them on. They are great. They are definitely comfortable. Don't get what people are saying they are not. And they are not yzy knock offs. How many ways can you make a slide. Stop it. My wife first impression was AF1. I see more of that than yzy slides. I went up 1 size due to wide feet and they felt great! 12 to a 13. I have yzy slides, sneakers, nike slides and jordans, so my opinion isn't bias. These actually look better to me. I never like the wavy bottoms of yzy slides. Also, if I can't get it for retail I'm not getting it. Paying 100+ for slides is ridiculous. Bought all 3 colorways of these for less than 170. That's a steal. Either way stop the hate and try something new.

Do a review on the Hoka one one recovery slide. No one ever talk about it but it is by far the most comfortable slide for cushion a stability. It’s a slide you can wear all day without and foot fatigue.

As a widefooter, the slides crinkle on the corners of the top. Then in the middle near the arch its like a stiffer build purposely and its not comfortable. I definitely wouldn’t recommend either

As someone who has the slides, strongly disagree with virtually every conclusion in this video. Yeah the slides are firm at first, but you clearly didnt break them in before making this review. I get you probably don't spend a lot of time in each shoe due to your review schedule, but this review is a bad look.

They are tall, but too narrow, and because they are so unstable I broke my foot wearing them. I was walking down stairs normally when my foot completely rolls under me, pulling a tendon and cracking part of the bone.

I just got the echo slide in and honestly I don't like them. Sure they are comfortable (step-in) but thats all they got going for them. 1) These are highly unstable and dangerous (feels narrowish). 2) When walking and foot is lifted, the foot falls off the slide (hence why they came out with a strap) The fact that you can seriously twist your ankle EASILY makes this a terrible slide. Unless it needs some time to break-in and flatten out or widen itself out i do not recommend. Maybe should have gone the mellow slide route or try out the Costco slide. But for now, yeezy slides are probably the best. Most expensive but they literally have no cons besides finding the right size.

Nike always runs super narrow.. I always size a half size up in shoes.. full size if not more on slides and sandals, eg. I'm a 10.5 and wear a 11, wear a 12 in slides, for nike. That said, got the calms and feel ya, they're still not wide enough and I didn't think squishy enough. let me down. Sick PDX socks.

Nah L take He's kicks Copped these and they're fire. Yes yeezy slides are softer yet yeezy slides are almost TOO soft. Really easy to feel like you're going to roll your ankle in those and the tread wears away super fast. Comparatively the calms have a really nice solid tread and sole, they're durable af and they're still comfortable without feeling like you're going to roll your ankle because the cushioning is too extra soft like yeezys. The calms are excellent. If you're feeling pressure in the balls of your feet with the calms then you're flat footed. My feet are arched so I don't have that problem. With the calms you're also going to want to size up from your tts since they run small. If you have narrow feet you can go tts. People also keep saying "they're stiff out the box" again, they weren't stiff for me, they were quite comfortable yet solid feeling on foot, sturdy. And also once you break them in a bit the comfort only goes up. Got the calms in black and getting them in sesame/khaki next and also eyeing those red ones. Calms are fire and I prefer them over my yeezy slides (which are discontinued anyway) y'all keep sleeping on these calm greatness.
