How many black athletes does Nike use to make their billions? From Jordan, Kobe, Lebron, Tiger Woods, Serena, etc. This company has greatly benefiited from black athletes. A black man posts a link to a documentary exploring the lineage of black people including those athletes Nike makes money off and they drop him. So I won't be buying any Nike shoes going forward.

I can almost guarantee none of these folks have seen the film.... It is fascinating how they can just throw that word around and the world shakes... Does it matter if they are not telling the truth because people aren't going to do their research so they can just label anyone antisemitic.

I started boycotting Nike during the era of apartheid in South Africa and I never stopped. My suggestion is that Nike should treat all of its employees and partners fairly in every country that it is privileged to do business in then its statements regarding the treatment of others would hold great weight. Black atheles can choose a different company. There is no reason to lose sleep over the decision Nike makes regarding the termination of your contract. As for trying to please the gatekeepers of the industry; it comes down to what you are willing to do to stay in that space. Know your worth... Have your limit.

@@aaronphdbdnd5535 Amazon definitely has the power to censor what gets played or sold on their platform. I don't disagree with you when it comes to Kyrie. Instead of just coming out and apologizing, he doubled down and got defensive. He has since apologized for the way he handled it.

@@mbritt38 Right but the point isn't that the thing exists. Its that someone is taking things which don't have basis in fact and then doing to a minority group what he himself feels is done to blacks. That the film denies the Holocaust is like denying to white America that the Constitution is not a document worth trusting. His apology rings false, owing to how it came only after he was punished. That's like trying to plead not guilty after sentencing. Nor does his apology actually include anything about what he said, just that he caused harm. There's no denouncement of something laden with lies. That's where it breaks down. Being a public figure promoting the same hateful, baseless type content doesn't really help him, either.

@@shebaglover3986 Are you Jewish? I am not. Adam Silver is and called it vile. Many others have as well even LeBron spoke against the doc so at this point it isn't really a discussion on whether the material was offensive. Silver and LeBron both also are supportive of Kyrie as not himself holding hate for anyone. On whether Kyrie watched it before posting I continue to take his word for it which was no he did not. That is on him. The correct consequence may not be all that he is getting but it had to be something significant.

WE are going to rule the world, that is why they are mad. keep the blacks asleep, when they wake up, they will rule the world. They say it in their books. I never understood how that is possible, but now i see it. ONce we wake up and start doing what we were meant to do, we will stop the foolishness that was forced on us.
