Written pattern and video do not match. Would have been nice to have the amount of stitches missed to get to the toe part. Written shows dc and video shows sc. Very confusing. Would be nice to get some clarification. Just tossing this and moving on.

i found that in R3 where it says 2DC in 10st, if you switch to singles then it ends up just over 9cm:)

The yarn you use, makes a huge difference. Walmart yarn is too thick or had too many strands. I'm going to try with the recommended yarn and see how it goes.

I am using the yarn you suggested from Amazon 100 % cotton - Sinfonai and have tried 3 different hooks starrting with 1.75 mm hook down to 1.10 hook. The sole is so big for a baby. Even with the smallest hook of 1.10 the sole will be all most 6 inches. I have gone as tight as I can go. What am I doing wrong?

Hello im still having issues with the size of the sole im on the r3 of the sole and its measuring 12.5cm why? I cant figure it out i haven't done r4 yet and who knows what size it will be 😮😢

Unfortunately, sometimes this happens. You can't hit the right density. Try crocheting sc instead of dc in row 3

It would have been nice if instead of the annoying music you would speak in your video and explain your stitches because in Part 5, Rd 2 your Pattern is:(1dc in second st of last row, 37dc, Dec, ch1 turn (39)). Well if you look at your video around your 18th and 19th st you did a decrease and it's not in the pattern. Also in the Toes 3, in the video it shows you inserting your hook in your front loop only but I can't tell but it looks like the next stitch you insert your hook in both loops, it's hard to see because your fingers are in the way and it's black yarn. I also wish you showed how you inserted the shoe laces,instead of just waving your hands. Didn't watched the beginning of the video because I was trying to find a pattern for the toes part and sides, so don't know what errors their is in the beginning.

Hello! Thanks for your comments and feedback! I apologize for the annoying music. The video was recorded several years ago and my English at that time was not good enough to comment on the video. Part 5 Row 2. Indeed, in the video in the middle of the row I make a decrease, but there is no mention of it in the text. This reduction, in principle, does not greatly affect the final result - you can do it or not. Part 3 Toe. I crochet the back half loops only for the entire first row and this is indicated in the text. I apologize that it's hard to see in the video. I didn’t think that it was necessary to explain in detail in the video how exactly to insert the laces into the shoes. I will definitely film this moment in the next video.
