I might get this Adistar instead the Ultraboost 22 for my long and slow runs . Would do a good combo with my Adios 6.

Just got the adistar because I was sold on the idea of a low and slow trainer. It’s very early days in my training for the year so something that is comfortable, has a smooth ride and is somewhat stable is what I need for 6-HM mile distances and this shoes delivers for that. My legs feel nice and fresh after and the shoe is much lighter than the Boston 10 which was my previous cruiser. I truly love this shoe for what it is and it delivers comfort with smooth ride for the duration. Very pleased with the purchase.

Good review. I am going for the adistar. Planning to do my first full length marathon in this. Hope it will help me in training and the event

The Nike Invicable is my go to for most longer runs, works great in all terrain in wet and dry, but did slip on a wet sloped wooden bridge, otherwise a winner. Happy Holidays!

Update, had 8 inches of snow last Few days, rare in pacific northwest foods were fairly clear yesterday so did a 10k, no slippage in Nike Invicables except on on spot of nasty slush. Great shoes. Happy New Year

Great review, thank you. I had to return the Invincible, just too unstable for me. The heel clip did little to counter that for me.

Hey! Would you do adistar or glideride 3 for an easy day shoe?
@scottcockburn91123 жыл бұрын
I really like adidas, currently loving the sen 8 and seriously considering the adios pro 2 for upcoming hm/fm. The nike invincible definetly wins it for my though. For slow easy runs I just think its an amazing shoe

Slow runs in the invincible are too “sinky”

As a stability shoe runner our choice of exciting and inovated shoes are limited and boring, but this adistar one looks great. Could you give us a defining list of the best stability shoes out there ? also are there any elite runners wearing stabiltiy shoes ?
@erensfeet55633 жыл бұрын
Elite runners dont typically wear stability shoes cause they dont need one. Those elite athletes u see in olympics almost always have perfect feet gait and neutral pronation so they dont need em

I can't put a finger on what the Adistar is really like based on the many reviews I've watched. There seems to be no middle ground as far as the cushion goes. I've heard people complain that this anything but a max cushion shoe and that the Repetitor+ heel feels like concrete. I've also heard one reviewer say that there is zero energy return on the Adistar. On the flip side, you are comparing the Adistar to the Invincible Run, which is about the most max cushioned shoe I have ever owned and you mentioned in your conclusion that both are max cushion shoes. I'm curious why reviewers are so divided on the Adistar.
@graemeboxall76952 жыл бұрын
I haven't found any cushioning from the Adistar. I have been told by others to wait a few more miles for the foam to break in.
@teng0292 жыл бұрын
@@graemeboxall7695 Interesting that your experience is very different from mine. I found it to have really good cushioning for the most part. The heel didn't bother me either.
@TruthFLA Жыл бұрын
Its the heel. The heel portion is really the firm portion of the shoe. If you are a heel striker you're going to feel the firmness of the shoe more than anything else. But if you are a mid-foot striker you're going to feel the plushness of the of the foam. That's why the reviews are so divided.

How about marathon or half marathon run faster about 4-5min/ pace? Or 10-20km training?
@Arki20192 жыл бұрын
Just ordered the adistar for £74. After near 100 miles in the invincible the upper just lets it down for me always causing a different issue somewhere. If Nike could sort the janky upper think the invincible would be a winner.
