Because people/kids are going to buy the signature models of their favorite players regardless of what's in it. The GT series is getting bought because they give you the more innovative tech. If you switched the "names" of the shoes, a Ja with top tech is going to do similar to a little better while the GT series wouldn't sell at all.

Nike has lost all flair and innovation. All these shoes look like Kobe’s but don’t innovate like Kobe’s. Even lebrons look like Kobe’s. Nike became the apple of the shoe world but with cheap materials. And for cushion they don’t have to go crazy cause zoom works but eventually it’s gonna get tired and people won’t want it. Nike needs to overhaul management if they want to gain sales again.

Good news is that Elliot Hill has replaced John Donahoe. So maybe expect next year to be somewhat similar to this year (since stuff is made and produced in advance) but things could change under Hill. And hopefully it’s not just performance and innovation. Nike has been in need of a help with some leadership stuff, branching all the way down to retail store. Hopefully, Hill can make the changes needed to turn the brand back in the right direction.

Dear nightwing, for ur Achilles tendinitis consider doing calf isometrics on off the court days or while ur warming up to play u might feel like ur calf cramping up while playing the first couple times but ur body will adapt and ur calf’s will get stronger and will lessen the load on ur Achilles and put the load on ur muscles more

I hate tapered toes, even half size up my big toe is jamming/touching the top side of the shoe. Same with Brons, Kds etc. If I go one size up then they are too big. I only play in protros now coz the fit is @ss on new nikes.

Releases like this are the reason why Nike/Jordan is no longer the best performance basketball brand and brands like Li-Ning, Anta and 361° are putting out way better products! Nike need to turn things around as soon as possible, because once we actually get these other brands on shelves, it's going to be extremely hard for Nike to claim their throne back!
