I really love playing in my KD9, I don't have any fit or lockdown issues with it, since I have narrow feet, and I don't have any problems with traction, cause I play in a clean court. It's responsive enough for me, cause my play style is more of a pull-up, catch and shoot.

I probably have a foot as wide as or wider than lebrons and I can fit my feet in kd9's and it's reallly comfy. I also have an extremely flat foot and low arch. It's just a little hard to put the shoe on but once it's on it's very comfy

I have wide feet and KD 9 Elite fit just fine due to upper being mostly out of flyknit. Full length zoom unit feels very good too. Original KD 9 is too tight on me though.

Shoes these days made to last probably a year or 2 if you got 1 shoe to use. Look how thin those midsole and outsole. Materials not even durable. Plus that zoom popping issue they could've eliminate that small rubber connecting toe area and mid foot area.
