I live right near it and me and a few of my buddies want to explore it. Do you know of a secret entrance to get in?

Is the entrance way locked? I would like to come and explore this too but it is an 8-hour drive for me from where I am so I don't want to drive 518 miles her nothing although there probably are some bases closer to me

@@richardvg7670 I actually just went with my friends a few days ago. Fairly small but very interesting. The entrance is locked although you could be able to fit through the opening of the gate at the bottom as long as you’re not over weight. That’s how I got in. It’s very over grown and the buildings are really deteriorated. Make sure to wear pants like jeans or something and bring bug spray as I got but multiple times and is still recovering 😅 also check yourself for ticks after because I did find one on my foot after I got in the shower. Overall it was a neat experience and I would recommend it. I didn’t get to explore the whole thing because of how bad the bugs were so I plan on going back next time prepared and exploring the areas I wasn’t able to get to

@@nickgervasi9417 Nick thanks so much for that information about that and yeah I'll bet it would be a cool place to explore I went and checked out and got lucky enough to see an old army base that would probably be for you about the same distance it would be for me to drive to there but it was definitely worth going to see the course I had to keep things under the radar though because there is still semi activity on the base it is decommissioned but part of it is still under military control because there is unexploded live ammunition there and the restricted area which no one can go into but the other part all the buildings in bunkers are still there and still has the military numbers like m107 DTC on the sides of the buildings there was one section that had a push-button out by the road and there were two little what I thought to be overnight guard buildings or something? Not sure it had enough stairs in a downstairs and a toilet in it so I wasn't quite sure what that was but I'm guessing with the button was to let someone know that they were there and they would come down and let you in And yeah I can imagine you would definitely need bug spray there there is a base that's actually only 70 miles from where I'm at but the only problem is it's under private ownership buy like a farmer or something even though the buildings are all in good condition so I couldn't see that and another one has a radio station Tower built on it
