Yep B&H is the best. I think its time to upgrade your camera and tripod. That things was allways falling over before haha. I am sure you can afford it. And you can most likely write them off too! Invest in a pro body with weather sealing. And the lends should have weather sealing to. Idk what is the best autofocus lens and body would be at this moment! Your lens should still work! So you proably just needa a new body atleast to start.

@@thomasstefaniuk Yes. But since you use it in a more "extreme" situations you it may not be enough for your standards. I am usuing extreme loosely. I am a professional photographer. I understand how much these things cost! It not shade at all, it is just reality. My body alone cost 5000 before the lens and tripod, SD/Cf cards, hard drives ect. I also use my camera in an "extreme" way as well. I am always outside. 6000 may be a lot but if its not servicing your needs then it is inadequate. Also it is kind of your job. So maybe a bigger investment is due. Never did I try to insinuate that you had a cheap rig at all. Just you may need better equipment. Obviously you where not aware that you camera body would have broke if you where in the rain to long. All hard lessons to learn being a photographer/videographer.

I think what they are trying to say is because it is so bright, it is kind of distracting. Your eyes go directly to it and could take away from the scence becasue of it high contrast nature. That may be why. Now you can also use that fact to your advatage. By creating fake movement in your scenes by drawing your eyes to the jack by your placement in the frame. Keep up the hard work!!! Casey Nistate I am asuming is an inspiration to you. He was so big because he was also a film maker and understood these ideas and the art of filmmaking.
