They NEED to bring back the Vapor Untouchable Pro plate! I been trying to follow it -to alpha menace, then lacrosse huarache. But Nike kept making small changes from the double toe pic to a single, tossed out the edge traction completely and then shortened the heel blade to a idk what the heck that fin things purpose…Just did us dirty by replacing it with that pond ripple design 😂. Slipping and sliding on the field. I’m a hard runner and I dig in, can’t do that with these current plates.

Us linemen need the Force Savage Cleats that have the extra protection back because they are insanely hard to find that aren't used until basically broken for a cheaper price.

In Nike's defense, the carbon plates they used for carbon 2014 and untouchables are way too thin to actually do anything. Any "spring" or "propulsion" whatever you feel comes from the plastic bottom as a whole. This is compounded by the fact they made the plates on the first generation of vapor edges way too soft so a lot of people felt the difference. The current vapor edge 2 line has about the same level of spring as the carbon 2014s, and the edge VCs are even stiffer.

I think the untouchable is just OP. For me it's not necessarily the spring tho. I feel like the grip is just more responsive and way easier to get in and out the break in the untouchable.

Something that is not talked about enough is the traction plate! It’s the most important part of the cleats and vital for the position that a player is going to play and players safety. Where are the cleat options for Grass/Artificial grass/ turf like you see in the soccer lines. Nike current cleats are hard on the players and don’t allow for much pivot.

I wear the black Nike Alpha cleats they’re only good if I don’t have a slat route in my football games

The VC's are pretty much trash. They only have six holes for laces ( previously had 7)and don't lock in the heel well. You almost have to wear grip socks so make them usable and absolutely have to relace them to keep them on the foot. Start at the bottom with the lace flat and on the inside so they wrap around the outside to use the flywire all the way up. I really feel they were a waste of time and money.

if you really want to nitpick it'll depend on what coverage you play the most. vapor edges are good for press man but if your team mainly plays off man the edge studs grip the turf so well they are actually not optimal for fast turning and pivoting. the smoothest cleats you'll get are the ones with vapor speed plate
