I remember playing in these. Nike tricked me cuz the way Vince was jumping out of the gym those days, I could have sworn the energy return would be great. Very durable kicks I will say. Im still waiting for Nike to retro the 2001/02 Air Jet Flight with the straps that Dirk & Nash used to wear. Cant wait for them the come back. Great work NW!

Nike Air Jet Flight- man, I missed out on these when they originally came out, but these were sick! Nash actually opted to wear these for an extra season or 2 even though Nike had another shoe for him that year. Great guard shoe that looked really light & 1-to-1. I've tried to find these everywhere- eBay, etc. No luck. Really hope Nike protros these soon. They look like they'd be bangers even today. Let's make it happen!

Owned a pair of these in the early 2000s... so comfortable, the leather and materials locked your foot in so snug... yes they were heavy but it was an era where that didnt matter.. it was a real flex to have shox. Surprised they're back.

Played in these tonight, needs a bit of break in but I loved them! I also used to ball in Shox VC 1 and I loved them too. It's heavy compare to today's standards but traction is great, also very solid and I felt like I was 19 again! (I'm 35 now.)

yep, copped right away and super sold out in Toronto of course. Lucky I got a pair and I will be hooping in these ha! Also VC didn't wear these a few times, he wore them for the past 2 seasons all year. Nike made a deal with him to re-make his BB4s for him to wear all year. That's when we all (Toronto VC fans) began to hope for them to release to public and finally it happened.

I've had a couple SHOX during high school and college. It always felt like Timberland's. Very stiff heels. I wore it, because I believed the hype that they were supposed to be springy, but they had the worst cushion of any Nike shoe I've worn.

Agree! 2012 failed to retro it properly. I am surprised that the new ones is like making me feel i’m in 2000 again. Can’t wait for mine to arrive ❤️. As for the shox, I sprained both ankles day 1 wearing his VC Shox 1. But, once the material breaks in, it actually feels like any normal shoe today..or better. You can move where you want to, and doesn’t feel like 🧱

I had some of my best 🏀 games wearing several shoes from the “shox” series. These were considered light back then. I remember a super supportive shoe that lasted me 3 years. They were marketed as energy returning but I never felt that. Some of my buddies thought the shox gave them achilles tendinitis...
