If you don't love the snug feel then definitely half size up.

Does this model fit more like the TL or the R4? I wear an 8 for the TL and an 8.5 for the R4.

Hey, I've never tried on the R4s but I have tried on the TL's. It doesn't fit like the TLs. I find the TLs have a strange fit even though it is tts it looks bigger on foot. Where the Shox 2 fit more like a normal nike trainer and in my opinion tts. Hopefully that helps.

They are comfortable and very stable on the foot. I would say though the upper is quite snug. This may loosen over time however if you are inpatient then size up by half a size.

Not sure it's very old compared to the AJ1 and AF1s. These are still in the young era.

This is just one colour though not sure what the future holds for this model. There is a leather version coming out and maybe a black version. The point is the model is a nice model and unexpectedly good in feel and looks.
