Amendment: Reggie states in the video that the Air Fear of God 1 is a "lifestyle sneaker". More succinctly it's a "basketball lifestyle" sneaker. While they can be worn on the court these are more style over substance which is the reason why the Fear of God Shoot Arounds exist as the more court ready versions of this particular silhouette.

Value for money wise, the bone colourway is much better than the black and cream version. I'm still confused as to how they could charge the same price for a mesh shoe and an all leather shoe. Definitely a case of being conned by business.

Yo! Amazing review. If you are ever having issues with narrow shoes try using wooden cedar shoe trees from Nordstroms/Nordstrom rack. Major game changer when it comes to shoe preservation. My black pair of AFOG 1s fit narrow at first until I started using the shoe trees. They fit way better now.

This is a fantastic sneaker and a silhouette I love. Compared to the whole cavempt collection, this feels like a real conversation between Lorenzo’s grunge aesthetic and Nike’s basketball department. Cavempt’s whole collection (besides its sneakers, which I feel are absolutely fantastic and shout cavempt to me) feel like they’re inhibiting the designer’s philosophy.
