Hi Owen, I have a pair of Nike Zoom Fly 3. Took a while to get used to them due to the high stack. Use them now to do fast reps although not short faster stuff. Good for 5-10km. My first carbon plate shoe and probably the first of many. Great work on the video 👍

Thanks a lot👍 similar to what I found, they shine on longer interval training around 5-10km pace😃

Thank you for the update. I have taken to pairs of ZF3 to 800km each and no tears on the outsole however I dont feel the bounce is like it were when it was new as I immediatly made PR's when I first got the shoes. How do you feel the bounce after so many miles?
@Athletics20203 жыл бұрын
They aren’t the bounciest shoe anyway, so yes, after 850 miles the bounce minimal 😅

Btw, i'm a very light runner at 43kg and i'm looking for a pair of lightweight trainers for my daily 5k and 10k. Im thinking of this Zoom fly 3 but people are saying it is very heavy...
@Athletics20203 жыл бұрын
It’s a little on the heavy side, not too much but a little. I would recommend the Adidas SL 20 😀

It's 252 grams for a US 9, my current trainers are 214 grams. Do you think i can use it as a good trainer?
@Athletics20203 жыл бұрын
@@whyyoumadbru I think it’s ok for a tempo shoe, however didn’t enjoy it on easy runs. I think something like the Nike Pegasus 37 or ASICS novablast might be a better daily trainer👍

@@Athletics2020 yeah thanks ! I will try to buy a small size one so it will eeight light. US 7.5 is only 237 grams. And im also going to buy a racer shoe for my time trials either the asics sortiemagic rp 4/5 , reebok run fast pro OR asics fastwitch 9

@@Athletics2020 Owen, be notified that the new production line of the NZF3s is releasing them in new specs! Now they have 11mm drop instead of the 8mm drop (which you'll see every reviewer mentioning). Another change is in the plate! Two years ago, it used to be a Carbon-Infused Nylon Plate according to reviewing websites and Nike's sales staff. Now it is Carbon-Fiber Plate.
