Picked these up for the nostalgia factor. Rocked them in 2005 and loved them and rocking them again in 2023. In my top 10 all time greatest sneakers with the kobe grinches, jordan 11 playoffs. All we need is the cool grey release of the Lebron 2 imo

I remember this colorway being sold at a sneaker shop near Nostrand and Church Ave in Brooklyn NY and I had about $110 on me and wanted to cop but retail was $125 and the owner would not budge at all lol. I ended up getting the white lows a few months later but I always wanted to get this colorway. Found this vid trying to look up what they'd look like with jeans for casual wear. Flightclub has these and the Maccabees colorway for less than the current retail right now. Might cop later.

LeBron was balling in these in his 2nd NBA season. I had these in ‘06 and man, they were comfortable, heavy, durable, and looked killer on the court. Miss these early LeBron models, they were more robust and offered very good build quality

One of my fav pairs of lebrons. at one point i had every pair x2 and the lows. Still have the black and red and all star pairs. Glad to now have this pair back in my collection. Tanks they are!!

Great review Sean, as a 1986 head, Lebron 2 and Penny 2 were some of my favorite shoes that I never had the chance to own growing up. I'm glad they retro'd this year and I'm looking forward to adding them to my rotation. It looks like the resale on them is lower than MSRP so I might go that route instead of buying directly from Nike. I still have a near DS pair of Bred lebron 4's in the closet, got those way back in 2006 haha.

I had the black/white/red lebron 2’s back in 04. I wanted the USA cw as well but, couldn’t grab a pair. Fast forward to now…. These were a must. 😊😁

I went with my usual size 10 in these, but they were a bit painfully tight on the width when trying to play bball in them with elite socks. Ended up exchanging for a 10.5. I think it's due to the premium, thicker insole on the retros, which leaves less room in the toe box.

Great review. I’ve waited a very long time for these to retro. I’ve been swapping between these and the 20s on court and they hold up very well. They are heavy but once you start playing in these it’s hard to tell. They look great on feet.

Waiting to see if they'll retro the ASG & black/crimson OG colorways because if not then these are what I plan on grabbing. Might go with the white/Maccabi since they were a PE when LeBron wore them though. Still undecided. This colorway is just so nostalgic because I can literally remember waiting on this colorway to release back when they first released. Glad they stayed true to the OG box. The boxes are the only thing I have left of my 2 pairs that I had as a kid. I grabbed another DS pair of the OG black/crimson colorway a few years ago so I still have those but they'd fall apart due to age if I actually tried to wear 'em. Really REALLY hope Nike retros those colorways. 🤞🤞 They look pretty identical to the OG's so I'm looking forward to grabbing some. Great video & amount of detail added to it. I appreciate it, man. Did they end up breaking in comfortably width wise Sean? I’m in the same boat as you. Size 10 fits well lengthwise but it’s pretty tight on the width with some pain on the pinkies
