Recovering from a bad injury is a really hard time, glad she's back. Really like her style.

Love her fluid and effortless style. And the white pants and blue and white striped button up fit look so clean.

I like how you touched on how an injury that stops you from skating takes away your identity. It is like that. If skateboarding is your whole life and it's taken away. Then What?

i had to quit skating due to my mental disability. luckily there are billions of other hobbies in the world. some that can actually bring you MORE joy than skating.

@@vasectomyfail442 not really homie. i tried. tore my acl mcl and miniscus. tried replacing skating with all sorts of stuff for 10 years. finally, knee was strong and skating made me whole again. good luck!

I destroyed my right knee and had to quit skating. Skateboarding was all I knew, it was my whole life. I went into a deep depression, would have vivid skating dreams then awake to my reality. It was horrible. It probably took me a year to even want to see people again and I had to avoid skateboarding completely as it was too emotionally painful. It took me about 5 years to find myself again, get some direction in life, and to be around skating again. I do other things for fun these days but still really miss skateboarding and always will I expect.

"there's only guys in magazines and contests" is a complete lie, females have had their own competitions since the late 90's. Patti McGee, Cara-Beth Burnside, Elissa Steamer deserve a lot of credit for not making the sport seem sexist and just skating.
