Capacitors are used to split the phase You can also split with the help of Inductive coil. But where inductive coil Lag the power factor... So thats why Capacitors are used to lead/increase the power factor...

Hi Mr.Niket, Single phase input means one phase and along with it a neutral (ie. pair). But the drawing shown at 9:00 0f the video (against the Rotary phase converter) depicts two separate phases at the input side of the 3-phased disconnector switch. Is this drawing correct?

We can split through an inductor but an inductor is heavy and lagging and lagging has some disadvantage but if we used a capacitor , it lead the voltage by 90degree this is the advantage and capacitor is not heavy.

Using a Capacitor: Right Rating: Hamesha us application ke liye suitable capacitor rating ka use karein. Polarity: Polarized capacitors (jaise electrolytic capacitors) ko sahi polarity ke saath connect karein. Galat polarity se capacitor damage ho sakta hai. Safe Installation: Capacitor ko securely aur properly install karein taaki woh vibration ya mechanical stress se free rahe. Practical Steps for Safe Handling and Usage: Identify the Capacitor: Determine karein ki kis type ka capacitor aap use kar rahe hain (electrolytic, ceramic, film, etc.).
