Great video! I graduated in 97 from Bayreuth and much has changed. It was great than with a smaller campus, a smaller city and I still have a lot of friends from back then (still married to my wife, who I met there). Lots has changed since back then, but love to see the city where I spent 5 years. Kudos!

This video just came up in my feed lol. I'm german and study Computer-Game-Science M.Sc. at Uni Bayreuth. If you're into computer games and like to talk about and make games of your own I would definitely recommend coming here. There's nothing quite like it in Germany where you combine actual programming and game design with philosophy and theoretic media-scientific courses. Some of the departments here are a little unorganized (comp sci especially lol), but for me personally that was never a really big issue. Also Bayreuth as a city is just great and I love living here! It's small enough to basically walk everywhere in

@@warlord5488 I am in for Computer science. My review : I think if you have a better Public University option other than Bayreuth, then you should go there. Yes, Uni bayreuth is good, but again, there are a few stupid things called " Modulauflage" which we have to complete in 2 semesters, or else you will be kicked out. Basically complete 2 or 3 compulsory subjects which don't make sense much. Other than that, it's a pretty impressive University.

@@Youcancallmemina Hey, Ich studiere auch Jura in Bayreuth. Während den Lockdowns war die Uni doch recht chaotisch, wie viel davon der Uni selbst zuzuschreiben ist kann ich natürlich nicht beurteilen. Ansonsten hat mir das Kleinstadt-Ambiente persönlich ganz gut gefallen, der geschlossene Campus macht das kennenlernen nochmals einfacher. Du solltest dir aber im klaren sein, dass die hiesige Jurafakultät einen guten Ruf genießt, nicht etwa weil die Dozenten herausragend seien, sondern weil sie in den ersten beiden Semestern viel sieben und Klausuren auf Examensniveau stellen. Guys I was studying in the university Bayreuth and I really didn't like it and that's the reason I am not studying there anymore. Also few of my friends came from India and now they are studying in an other university because they didn't like it. I can speak for economic and business administration studies, no organisation, prof doesn't care etc. :)
