You guys are great role models as parents and Lowrider's. I used to have a 63 Impala too, I wish I wasn't so OCD about Impala's so please don't take offense to this. But the emblem on the front fender dictates the engine size. Your 283 should have the V without the flags. The emblem with flags are for 327 and 409 engines, except 409's have the numbers 409 above the flags 10:31

I wish i had the money to build my 96 Lincoln town car. I had to sell my 87 regal lowrider which i had for 3 days i didn't enjoy it. Because i had a feeling i was getting a new kidney soon and wth a risky surgery like that i didn't know i was gonna make it. But I'm here now and with all my bills i doubt that will ever happen

I hate it when middle-class are rich white people grabbed onto the culture of Aboriginal people, then you all try to be revisionist of its history. I'm an American black man and I come from a family of low riding since the 1940s in America. Latinos are not The originators of Lowrider culture alone. it was black Americans also. it's just that Latinos were doing it in front of the camera more than we were doing it in front of the camera. No one outside of America even knew about our low riding culture until we black Americans took it viral worldwide in our rap music videos and movies. Only up until the 1990s were we shown doing it in front of the camera in rap music videos and in movies and it was because of us American blacks that the lowrider culture went viral worldwide in movies and rap music videos. Latinos didn't take low-riding culture worldwide, yet, they get the credit for low riding culture. It's good that you all love low riding in New Zealand, but don't be it's history revisionist and try to rewrite and dictate what the culture is of low-riding, when you didn't come from that original culture, is very very wrong. The low riding culture neither originated with New Zealand's nor belong to you. all you can do is assimilate your culture into it, but you can't dictate the original culture. I'm a black man from the west coast of America in California, infamous for the history of low-riding, and I can tell you that low-riding started not just with hispanic-americans, but black American started around the same time. My uncles were lowriders in the 1940's. All of our people, blacks and Mexicans were low riding in the 1940s, again, both blacks and Mexicans. but it was a young white guy in the 1950s who had his father to put hydraulics in the front of his Corvette, long before anyone else had put actual hydraulics in their cars. but he didn't create the culture. we had already been cutting springs on cars and lowered them. To say that gangster is having nothing to do with low riding means that you don't know the actual history of low-riding. Perhaps you don't know about the king of the crips in Los Angeles California who was tookie Williams and then a movie was made about him who was the low riding gangsta crip in Los Angeles California back in the 1970s. Jamie Foxx, the famous comedian and actor played his role in the movie. because I am a lowrider and have had several of them, and lowrider bikes, and I can tell you that old-school blacks and Mexicans were gangsters in La when they were low riding back in the 1970s, all the way up till today. Yes, the gangster part is negative. but you don't get the rewrite the history of the truth of it. Be truthful and research and do you're studying and accept all of the history of low-riding and don't be a history revisionist. Yes, it is negative The gangsta lifestyle. but for you all to insinuate that is not a part of the culture is very wrong to leave out truth of parts of its history, if you say that you truly love Lowriding, because we are the creators of the history of low-riding and have lived the culture and we know the truth of it. Low-riding originated with us, blacks and Mexicans in America.
