All that wrapping paper is extremely gorgeous! Sounds really weird but when you were holding up all the silver things I kept thinking Niki should dye her hair silver. It would look gorgeous like a dark more grey silver.

Growing up I would go Christmas shopping with my mom, and when she would buy all this kids stuff (a few outfits, and a couple of toys) I would ask, and it was always, “for a friend who couldn’t get off work to shop”. Then, at some point my aunt would come to my house for a “wrapping get together”, and I wanted to help. I would be given the opportunity to wrap those mystery kids gifts. Come Christmas as I was unwrapping gifts, lo and behold, those gifts I helped pick out and wrap were *_mine_* . I caught on at 7 years old. I was told about Santa (and others) when I turned 5, so I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, just the typical clothes from family. Now it’s just a running joke in my family, I’m given money in November, I buy my gifts, and wrap them. I just can’t use them until Christmas Day. There’s no Christmas mystery or surprise with the gifts, but I know I’ll like what I get. 😂

Thank God Niki, Nate, Gabi, and Collin left New York City when they did. Yesterday morning there was an attempted terrorist bomb attack (I think in a tunnel of NYC). There was no one injured badly and no deaths, thankfully. Please pray for America and the world that terrorists can stop attacking and that there can be peace in the world forevermore. God made this world and earth for there to be peace and for humans to live a happy, long life, not to be threatening and make people not feel safe. So all I ask is for EVERYONE to pray, pray, pray for peace in this troubled world.

I know what you mean by being stressed about what to get people, but I think that people tend to forget what Christmas is really about. It's about giving and spending time with people that you love. It doesn't matter what you give, it doesn't even have to be something that you buy. And if you want to buy something, the prize or what it is doesn't even matter. What's important is that you have been thinking about those people and that you care about them. 😊 ❤️
