This series really showcased some of the best actresses, on a television. I really loved character Amanda, she was extremely beautiful, yet intelligent, and evil. A very deadly combination!!! The character Alex, had both youthful beauty, and athletic agility, and I loved how she was able to think fast, to out smart division!!!

Damn, I loved Amanda more than ever after seeing this scene. First she makes Alex want to live again - finally getting inside her head and breaking her - just to prove she can win their mind-game. Then she kills her. Then she FIXES HER HAIR while there's a dead body right next to her. Then she brings Alex back to life and screws Percy over. This may be the first time we see the depth and complexity in Amanda - she's not just pure evil. LOVE Melinda Clarke and Amanda!

Love nikita. One of the most underrated shows. Go figures the cw would cancel it. It was one of the few shows that had completely complex villains like Amanda that you loved to watch. Had characters like nikita and alex. Both deeply flawed yet both uniquely strong and courageous. Miss this show even if it did go down hill at the end (networks fault) Also low-key love that Amanda's point in this scene was to help Alex realise her own strength without her dependency on Nikita. She has survived so much without her.

Rewatching this scene now, looking back on what a complex, dangerous, unpredictable, scary, cold, ruthless, fascinating villain Amanda used to be, it just makes me so frustrated. In Season 3 they turned her into such an over-the-top, ridiculous cartoon of a villain: "I will get revenge on Nikita mwahahaha!" all of her other motivations disappeared. Not to mention how she ALWAYS knew what Team Nikita was gonna do and always getting away and always using her stupid brain machines...

I am officially an Alex/Amanda shipper….Their relationship is so complicated. What a woman Amanda is, kills Alex, fixes her hair, brings her back to life. I know I'm gonna love/ hate her at different times. Melinda Clarke is amazing and I love the interactions with her character and Alex.

I just discovered this show on netflix..i watched every episode in two weeks....and am entranced, mesmerized infatuated whatever, with Amanda....i watched it just to see her.amazing actress...unforgettable portrayal of an enigmatic, powerrful, gorgeous, ambitious, diabolical, ingenious, complex, truly amazing lady....Amanda, the Dragon lady.....

@MikeHill Action-wise I would agree Amanda's still pretty ruthless but performance/acting wise, she's lost that edge to me. For me, she used to be on the verge of psychotic when you looked at her, her performances are so much more docile to me now. As for Alex and Nikita, I hope something changes soon!

I miss the old Nikita in season 1 and half of season 2. Nowadays it`s not as good. I miss the excitement and nailbiting tension every second of a episode. Now it`s just not as good.

" so tragic " when he find out that nikita destroyed his ambitions of taking over the intelegence agency . about the new division .. GOOD WORK WRITERS !! really i think it's a great idea for the show , sure not for michael and nikita who's by their own now since alex is going after revenge with the help of amanda ... that woman seems to have earned alex on her side

Actually... Amanda is now ruthless because of her hatred towards Nikita. So I disagree with that. However, Alex is definitely softer and so is Nikita but I have a feeling that will change.

Mike Hill Amanda is pissed off at Nikita because she made Nikita she felt a personal connection to Nikita her mother daughter relationship so as far as Amanda was concerned Nikita was about to be canceled until Amanda argued in her defense and going up against Percy when he said that I Nikita need to be cancelled was not a good thing
