Looks good! Did you build the buggy yourself from plans or did you buy the kit?

@@nikitasimt I've been looking at the plans, but might end up buying a kit. How hard was the fabrication process? I'm by no means a pro but I'm confident.

if you can buy a kit ,it will save you time and money ...

@@nikitasimt Seems to be the case. I'll have to import it from Australia since I live in the states, but even then it should be cheaper (and likely better built).

Hi there I love the rebuild it looks great. I was wondering if you could help me out with a question. I have a barracuda I bought from the US and it came with one of those thin line light duty steering racks. Its pretty sloppy and am ready to change it. Problem is its an 11 inch rack and I cant find a heavy duty 11 inch online or anywhere. Then I saw your SACO rack and it looks like a heavy duty but I only see 15 inch when I search for them. Could you tell me what size is your rack and where could I get one? also the part number I see on it S/N 1284 is giving me nothing on google. And if my set up is for an 11 inch rack and I get a 15 inch rack and shorten the rods, would I get bump steer?

i dont remember the size of the rack but anyway you will need to bult new steering rods SACO is a great replasment for the Barracuda ove the factory one. Bump steer is minimal , you will need to adjust the ankor point for the steering rods i will try to send you some pictures to see what i mean .

Owning one of these buggys typically means you have to be willing to make things work with what parts are available. There just isn't much for parts suppliers for these as they aren't super common. I'm in Canada and I've never seen one of these except for the one I own, and people constantly ask me what it is.

yea man that is the biggest problem is finding parts. So what rack are you using on your rig?

Thanks for the response bro I really appreciate that. Do you think its possible if you still have that buggy could you measure the rack eye to eye and tell me the measurement? Again thanks for your help bro and your advice to use the SACO.

By the way you spoke about sending some pics to show me where to adjust the ancor points. Any pics or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks again.@@nikitasimt
