A BRIEF BIO OF- MULANA MOHAMMAD MAQBOOL AKHRANI Moulana Mohammad maqbool Wani AKHRANI is one among the top brass of orators of J&K who has been in the field of 'DAWAH'-calling people to Allah and His messenger since his early days of adulthood comprising over five decades as of now. Hailing from village Akhran in kulgam district,he stamped his authority of the gift of gab and supernatural skills of oratory since he started off delivering friday sermon at Jamia Ahlihadees Ghat Redwani Kulgam dating back to early 70s- an era in which present Jammiat AHLIHADEES BARBARSHAH started gaining ground and acquiring organised shape.Its pertinent to mention that the first TEHSIL JAMMIAT founded and organised in early 1970s was that of Jammiat AHLIHADEES TEHSIL KULGAM with present jurisdiction from shopian in North, Harnag Islamabad in east and Jawahar tunnel in west, whose first organiser was TARJUMANE Salafiat M MAQBOOL AKHRANI SAHAB.Once his early promise and potential as an amazing orator started making waves and the confidence of Molulan Noordin(r.a) shown in Moluana MOHAMMAD MAQBOOL AKHRANI SAHAB , he was called to jamia Ahlihadees janglatmandi islamabad where he performed his pious obligation for a couple of years. It's pertinent to mention that JAMIA AHLIHADEES JANGHLATMANDI ISLAMABAD was laid foundation by MOULANA MOHAMMAD MAQBOOL AKHRANI SAHAB along with MOHAMMAD Ramzan Misger of Malakhnagh ISLAMABAD and established as Dist. Headquarters of Jah Islamabad. Then came, 1989 a year in which he was handed the reins of Jamia Ahlihadees SHERBAGH . It is his tenure between 1989-2011 in which all the developmental projects,under his auspicious, were undertaken viz expansion of old Jamia building which would barely hold couple of thousands of people into a magestic and monumental one, Establishment of Salfia Muslim Institute secondary school and SALAFIA TRUST (now name changed to SALAFIA FOUNDATION) In response to his achievements in the field of Dawah he was embrassed the title of TARJUMAAN E SALAFIAT.It is pertinent to mention that he has hold the top chair(president)of JAH BARBARSHAH a couple of times besides few key portfolis during mid ninetees- a period that posed threat perception to any of the notable persons in the valley especially to the heads of islamic organisations to which history is testament as many came under the heat of the moment.During this period marshelling the troops of Jah Barbarshah and calling a spade while preaching salafi school of thought was as good as walking over the knife edged ridge.But the grace and providence of Allah was there with Molana Akhrani sahab who never ever got swayed by the then prevailing situation rather came up as an emblem of perseverance, steadfastness and staunch faith in the basic tenets of TEHRIKE SALAFIAT which yielded its fruits in the form of expansion of salafi school of thought across the nook and corner of state of J&k as MOLANA AKHRANI has laid foundation stone of hundreds of MASAJIDS till now.He strived tooth and nail for establishing a salafi seminary in islamabad town. Despite so many stumlbing blocks Molana Akhrani laid the foundation of Darululoom salafia Qazibagh KP Road islamabad in 2003 , the land of which was exlusively bestowed by its owner ( Gh Hassan who had become AHLIHADEES at the hands of Molana AKHRANI SAHAB by the grace of Almighty)to MOLANA AKHRANI for this purpose. Besides construction of mosques and academic /learning institutions,he has published scores of books, which are 65 in number,written by various authors most notable KYA MURDAY SUNTAY HAIN which introduced TEHRIKE AHLIHADEES to every household of south kashmir by virtue of its setback that BARELVEE school of thought recieved. Upon its publication, TARJUMANE SALAFIAT MOLANA MOHD MAQBOOL AKHRANI came across stern resistance from various quarters and even posed threat to his life and property.Ultimately the case was dragged to the law of court where Molana Akhrani defended his stance successfully over a period of more than five years.Besides he has written/authored 20 books which were published by DAWATUL QURAN we SUNNAH, Jammiat AHLIHADEES Tehsil/ Dist KULGAM, JaH Yarripora,JaH AKHRAN and ISLAMIC PULBICATIONS J&K.DAWATUL QURAN we SUNNAH. The books authored by Moulana MOHAMMAD MAQBOOL AKHRANI SAHAB are: 1. حنفیت کا اصلی روپ 2. شاہِ جیلان رحمہ اللہ 3.نعرۂ حق 4. داعیٔ توحید ابو حنیفہ رحمہ اللہ 5. احکامِ جنازہ 6. زیارتِ قبور 7. اسلام اور کمیونزم 8. شیخ جیلانی رحمہ اللہ کے ارشادات 9. حقیقت تصوف 10. پہلی منزل 11. انمول 12. خطبات مقبول 13. نور کیا ہے؟ 14. رکعاتِ تراویح 15. قربانی 16. درود کے فضائل 17. مقامِ والدین 18. ماہِ ذی الحجہ کے مسائل 19. تاریخ اہل حدیث آکھرن 20. فاتحٔ قادیان ۔ He has distinction of having remained under the shadow of reputed salafi scholars and is a proud student of them Like Moulana GN mubarki, Moulana Ab.Rehman Noori, Moulana Noorudin etc, May Allah grant them jannah. But he also has come across the same destiny as that of foregone SALFU SUALIHEEN who have been rewarded the other way by some of their contemporaray people when MOLANA AKHRANI was rusticated from JAH BARBARSHAH in early 2000s without any valid reason by the then Establishment of JAH Barbarshah along some of the then veterans like GH. NABI PARRAY, Adv MOHAMMAD YOUSUF PARRAY, MUNSHI GH. MOHD. BEIGH,MOHD ABDULLAH TARI,MOHD. RAMZAN MISGAR,AB. SALAM BUDUR,AB.GANI NATH,HABIBULLAH NORI, AB. SALAM MANDU,MOHD SULTAN,BASHIR AH. MALIK,MOHD RAFIQ PADER,MOHD. AMIN SALAFI, SHAFIQ AHMAD KHAN, MOHD. ABDULLAH RATHER and MASTER MOHD YOUSUF and hundreds of other cadets who had nurtured the organisation of JaH Barbarshah with sweat and blood. This unjust expulsion of these star members of JaH consequently led to the formation/ establishment of Difayi Jammiat AHLIHADEES J&K in 2010, after all efforts of reconciliation flopped during 2000 to 2010.Expulsionfron JaH Barbarshah didn't deter him from his work ethics towards MANAHAJE SALAF rather rejuvenated him to overcome the odds and with the passage of time people realised the truthfulness of him and started supporting the mission of Molana to which he himself made a public statement in one of the congregations at YARRIOPORA KULGAM when AKHRANI SAHB in his own flair remarked.. *ME AKELE HE CHALA THA JAANIBE MANZIL MAGAR LOAG AATAY GAYAI OAR KAARWAN BANTA GAYA. But still the road for him was not a bed of roses as he was, under a well thought upon plan and hatched conspiracy, dethroned/ousted in November 2011 from the same stage(Jamia AHLIHADEES SHERBAGH) wherein he had served tirelessly for best part of 23 years of his life. But their plot against him backfired when MOLANA AKHRANI SAHB come up with purchasing 5.5 KANALS of land at NEW QAZIBAGH KP ROAD adjacent to Womens college Islamabad worth 1.5 crores INR which he almost got collected single handedly for constrution of DARUL HUDA JAMIA AHLIHADIS SOUTH KASHMIR.Foundation stone of DARULHUDA was laid on 29 October 2017 and was officially inaugurated for Friday sermon and prayers on 16 April 2021 in grand and historic manner.Between 20 July 2012 to 16 April 2021 FRIDAY prayers were held in make shift tin MASJID(DARULHUDA) and between the period NOVEMBER 2011 when ousted from Sherbagh and 20 July 2012(DARULHUDA beginning)MOLANA MOHAMMAD MAQBOOL AKHRANI SAHAB delievered FRIDAY sermon in different mosques of valley from North to South. Presently he Leads friday congregration at Jamia Ahlihadees Darul Huda Qazibagh islamabad , besides being Patron of Darul Uloom Salafia Islamabad .He is also member of All India Muslim personal Law Board and Milli counsil plus member of advisory counsil of JAMIAT AHLIHADIS HIND and Chief Patron of DIFAYI JAMMIAT AHLIHADEES J&K since its inception in 2010.His speeches have covered almost all the religious matters.His more than nine hundred video lecures can be downloaded/watched from kzbin.info MOHAMMAD MAQBOOL AKHRANI.
