Just wanted to say thank you. I managed to beat mother whale using the bunnies, dorothy, rapunzel, and redhood with 3 seconds left to spare and 2 characters alive at the end lol. I had to use dorothy's burst a few seconds before the summoning ports started glowing at around 2:46. From there it was just using red hoods burst as much as possible to destroy the summoning ports. Tip for red hood users, when the one shot at phase two begins, use red hood's B2 and all the enemies will shoot at red hood, killing her. Then you can use rapunzel to revive. No other nikke's get hit at all. For reference, my characters are lv202 and my CP is like 110k. RH has 2 OL gears and no other nikke has OL gear. Also... my RH is maxed all cores. I got really lucky during the anniversary :P. Rapunzel is LB1, Dorothy LB0, Noir is LB2, Blanc is LB0. Good luck!

Got stuck on Phase 1 wiping my team. Yours is the first video to come up got me through five tries later after various team comps, red hoods pierce barrage was able to do normal damage to the right half of each wave the other half taking the 1's (shrug). I ended up using Rapunzel, Liter, Modernia, Marciana, Red Hood. Lvl 226 at 176k power. My whale miraculously went down with 54 health bars remaining. Thanks for saving me from the headache.

Hi! For this fight go to settings then increase aim assist to maximum (175 i think?) This will help you with destroying the ports.

Guys, if you’re anxious about timing bursts, another way is to brute force your way through by simply putting all bursts into the pods, if you’re playing on mobile it will be hard coz they’re a size of a crumb but just as you see MW light up, slowly trigger the burst sequence and aim your heavy hitter’s burst into a pod, whichever you please, just make sure you don’t auto aim your bursts into incoming projectiles. If you have Cinderella, aim for the middle or number iii pods on the left, slightly up than the center crosshairs indicate, and trigger your burst, that should trim down MW’s health to 97-103 layers. Use MG nikkes to finish off the recently spawned in mobs, you might be able to finish a few in full burst at the expense of having to finish 2 or three mobs by 1hp hits Then the aerial units hit and that’s the downside of running a brute-force team if you don’t have more than decent burst generations. Again use mainly MG units to core hit mobs and try to use AOE burst skill units or wave clearing units like scarlet black-shadow or privaty (normal or maid), Moran or Modernia so that the aerials can be cleared Of course you could tunnel-vision and core hit or aim for the mobs because phase 1 aerial units actually disappear after MW charges forward. And into phase two, core hit as much as you can so your burst generates before the elite bunch drops, time your burst depending on your healer’s niche. (ie If you hv rapunzel on your team, kick off the burst after the elites attack you, that way you get your health and a downed unit gets revived and the team comp is re-balanced) By phase two, if you did consistently hit core & pods, MW’s health will be worn down to 58-70 layers, that’s when you concentrate fire on the lowest pods (row i) trigger the heavy hitter’s burst again to really eat into the health, and when you see that the health bar only has 13 or so layers left, just keep hitting 1 more pod and you will defeat MW. After phase two trigger your bursts in a wave method Heavy hitter’s burst -> healer and 2nd B3 ->heavy hitter Team comp Make sure you have taunter, crit-booster, a NIKKE who boosts health potency, A healer (ideally rapunzel for reviving), and a heavy hitter. My lineup : Litre OR moran (litre GOAT, I tried with Moran for fun, worked out better than expected) Rapunzel (placed in both team comps)B1 Crown/blanc (tried both, crown stayed alive) B2 Cinderella/Scarlett Black Shadow (Cindy Bursts hurt more but Scarlett helped a lot in phase 1), Modernia (placed in both teams as main heavy hitter, real helpful when op has defence buff, always used as the 2nd Full Burst trigger) All NIKKE skills at lv7 except Cinderella who is Lv10 for all skills Only had increase ammo capacity OL gear for Cinderella, crown and Modernia And no, Rapi Red hood doesn’t guarantee your team can melt thru MW’s health, she will be knocked out before phase 2, even if yours is mlb worse if you don’t have full OL gear equipped Good luck yall ❤

So for a little updated team possibility if you're just absolutely desperate and have some of the most recent characters too: Tia (bastion), Naga (resilience), Red Hood (resilience), Liter (bastion), Modernia (bastion) Only overloads on this team were on Liter, everyone else just sitting with level 3-4 golds with some level 5 gloves on Red hood. Red Hood no lb (with good gear no overloads, skills were 7,10,8), Naga, Tia (both sitting in the 4s, 5s, 6s in skills), Liter, Modernia. I managed to nearly blast the core down before the first adds phase with red's triple burst starting at 6 stacks (unload everything at start). Blast core, get out modernia burst asap to clear out mobs. Damage never got super severe in this part and I really don't know why bc I had to go through all 3 add waves with shield still up. Once shield came down, I killed the core and started killing as many of the elite mobs as I could (I managed to kill 3 on the left side), but the damage we took wasn't terminal other than Tia dying from taunt. From here I just used red hood burst on both sets of ports right and left side and killed 3 of them before the boss died. Very very effective comp shockingly enough

Here's a tip. There's a new temporary participation for campaign mode. Basically "try out" nikkes. One of them is Marciana. I basically used her as my healer, and paired her with Centi. Much better survivability then say the bunnies (for this boss) So that leaves you with 3 slots for DPS, assuming you get some good RNG on Centi's 1 hit shield (You don't need a tank) and it should carry you all the way to the end, where DPS is the issue. Literally helped me clear this today, at 214 synch with 136k combat power. Unfortunately, you still want a Dorothy, and a Modernia for the mobs and I know not everyone has those 2 characters.

It's a BS stonewall challenge that is completely unlike anything else leading up to it. I've seen guides where people are saying to go into the settings and tweak the aim assist. If you have to go into the game options to balance a fight, then it is not balanced. Imagine playing through a title and then are suddenly hit with a multi tiered, high-end raid boss out of nowhere. Like, you run through FF14 and then Ultima Weapon is the Unreal version. It's ridiculous.

Reason for that is because this is a gacha game and they don't want you burning through their content real fast. You can wait till your total CP is higher, and is high enough making your units strong enough to beat this stage or if you want to try hard, use and invest on free snow white if you don't have her. Her ultimate works like a machine gun. Crown Also helps a lot. Also you saying it's not about me doesn't save you from me calling it out as it is. You commented negatively on this specific video and now I respond you try to say "oh it's not about you or this video". Now I gave you the options, if you still can't clear it then it's not the guides fault now is it? We call that skill issue

lvl 212, my team was Liter, Blanc & Noir, Scarlet BS, Drake. Make sure to manully burst when the whale light up a bit after shooting the balls. Scarlet aoe will clear the mob when it land, it was trial and error because sometime I missed time and her aoe miss. After that build up to brust Nior aoe when the air mob drop, build up again to burst scarlet and target the 2nd round air mob. During the one shot mob I make sure to burst so Blanc can heal while all are cover and it tank the attack, after that phase just aim the whale only.

i just beat this with: Naga, Tia, D, Privaty, Red Hood. my strat: TAKE OUT THE CORE first with Red Hood burst III before MW spawns any enemies ... then the fight is much easier (the core provides the buffs to the waves of enemies... take it out, they have no buffs)

I hate that they created a fight that needs to be played so specifically. I typically don't run a healer because I fight at the recommended power level, but I do have heavy investment in Noise. But like, she's not good enough. Her taunt is trash. I just cannot get past the unkillable elites part of the fight. I will be trying a meme option though, Helm life steal. I wonder if everyone can deal damage and therefore heal themselves faster than they take it. So far I've been amazed to go through hard mode with Helm's heal, characters like Scarlet and Modernia just insta-heal themselves.

This is probably the first battle in this game that is about to make me quit. I have a very similar composition, all my nikkes have stats higher or equal than the ones in this video and yet their damage output is at best half of what you have. I.e. Dorothy does about 3-4 mil [25412 power], privaty does 2-3 milion [35040 power]. Which means that no matter what I do I simply do not have enough damage to do anything in phase 3. And I try to follow the strategy guides to a t.

I wish I had Dorothy on my main account. I know you said that you can beat it without her, but I can't clear the second aerial wave in Phase 1. I don't generate enough burst between the first ground wave and that, and they get shielded. Granted, I'm below the recommended power by about 17k, so that may be why I'm struggling currently. My team was Liter, bunny girls, Scarlet, and Rapunzel. I also tried using Noise and Noah to tank hits. Guess I'll be stuck here until I can power up a bit more. 😿

I guess this is where I realize I need to stop and wit to hit the 160 wall first cus my co deficit and I don’t have the correct units xd no rapunzel but I do have dorothy and crown harran😂

I suppose it's clear that if you can't "tank" the one shot mechanic somehow without any sort of tank or just have tanky enough units to withstand it, this strategy kind of doesn't work very well. So I'm guessing that you either need a ton of investment into a certain character or just slowly but surely chip away at the boss somehow. Currently with my sync device at lvl 224 I am still unable to clear this fight. Then again, I'm at 144k atk power, so my damage is reduced pretty absurdly for this fight. I guess I'll beat it eventually.

Yes, that's why i put core characters (must use) in the video because surviving the one shot = clearing the stage.

Hey man it doesn't work for me. I can deal with the ground units easily but the aerial units she summons more than 10 of them while in your video she summons like 6. Did the fight change?

Dont have Dorothy or Noah, I'll have to find a way to make do.
