Cinderella was pounding the crap out of the Queen or whoever that was. She just got cocky. Its how she lost to Levi and the Goddess Squad as well. She would probably win every battle if she did what Anachiro did during the initial space elevator mission. Keep at a distance and unleash a never-ending barrage of beams and don’t stop shooting. Cindy is more than capable of mass destruction it’s just her hubris kind of gets in the way.

@@agentepolaris4914The scientifically correct answer would be yes she is drifting away from the earth, now the Nikke sci-fi science may differ, we will see, tbh my guess is she is indeed drifting away, and a rapture did assume the role of "acting queen" and to achieve that they had to merge a rapture with liliweiss head, like some sort of arachne. But this is only a theory of mine, it would be interesting because that would leave the possibility in a distant future to go to space and meet the original queen that may have repaired it and colonised another planet or the moon.

Shift Up set the bar high with the Red Ash Event so my expectations were very high for Old Tales and oh boy did they deliver. Cinderellas character growth was so great to see. Rewatching Cindys death in Red Ash hits so different now given the much needed context. Can't wait for Shift Up to knock it out of the park again next year!

The Queen Q-001. Look at the three stars on her forehead, the numbered chestplate, and her wings. Now, compare her to Marian's Second Affection skin in details, with the wings, the 02 markings, and her crown of stars. Chatterbox was genuine about wanting her to be his Queen.

Cinderella did so much damage to her and stranded her in orbit, so Chatterbox has been trying to make a replacement since the stopgap they have with Lilith's head isn't enough. Based on Enikk's confession in CH14, Chatterbox blackmailed her into giving up Nikkes as tribute for his Build-A-Queen project, and Marian was the most compatible with it. Last Kingdom saw her flex her Royal Authority for the first time when she told Chatty and Indi "Sudo don't come near this place ever again" and they were forced to obey.

God, I loved this animation so much. This entire event was incredible. It’s what a prequel SHOULD do. Despite knowing what is to come; you WISH things would be different. This event could have easily been a movie. It was epic, tragic, and hopeful, and all around absolutely beautiful. I loved the characters, and was captivated the entire time. When this cutscene happened I was blown away. This event cemented the love that was building after starting this game a few months ago. Thank you, Shiftup. Thank you for this game.

That's a good question... if they showed it that way, it's important and worth considering, though there's a chance we'll never know (because Cinderella separated the space station from its elevator) unless they show a separate story, as it's speculated that the "Queen" is actually Sleeping Beauty, as she has 00-1 on her chest and it's like Lilith mentions in Red Ash that she cared about "00-1".

So it might just be numbering. I think the commander will be able to go to a space station in the future though.

@@zy01 The fact that Marian was given a number would confirm that Marian is the next Queen of Rapture and would also possibly confirm that the Queen of the space station is also a "Queen" and was previously a Nikke (considering her appearance which was an abomination compared to Marian after 100 years of technology). Furthermore, Marian was the only Heretic who didn't have a transformation in Rapture compared to the others, instead she was given a Mecha in the form of the Queen Bee of Rapture, strengthening the theory (already confirmed in Last Kingdom) that Marian is the next possible Queen of Rapture.

only yesterday ... be known to me tat in Old Tales Mini game.. tat all the Rapture tat ive farm is actually Nikkes ... bcoz the Mini game is actually Cinderella mind fighting her corrrution... theres also the 4boss fight.. indicating they are actually Goddess Squad. also in da tricky jumping (wow you are a super player) section, what seems to be humanity last line of defence ( regular human army) with all line up artilery, all the raptuee there die with a single hit. geeezzz tat so deep. i love playing Nikke wit all its lore n deep Fshadowing... sory im not good wit english

This was a very nice callback to Stellar Blade. Eve going up the orbit elevator, fighting Democrawler; an abomination hooked onto the space station with wires, and being thrown out into space. Even the OST for this event felt very Stellar Blade-esque. The whole scenario mirrors these two games very well, can’t wait for the inevitable Stellar Blade Nikke collab!
