Since they are both on the same team right now, they bring both male and female perspectives and complement each other. It is good to see their Indian philosophical and character roots flowering in the service of their country. Pranav obviously has Indian roots as well, so Penny's comment isn't so much about Americans as it is about Indian immigrant's to America; not all of whom can claim deep roots in Indian philosophy either; after all most immigrants are necessarily cross-cultural entities up against the challenge of limited time to do justice to either, or any, culture or philosophical persuasion.
