Sleep paralysis is fucking terrifying, i had an experience where i woke up at like 3:00 AMish with a sharp pain in my chest. Like someone had there knee on my chest. Couldn't move or scream for help but i was so wide awake at that moment. I swear i saw a silhouette of a person over me, at first i was scared but then I just started getting mad and pretty much started cursing at this thing in my head, a few moments later the pressure on chest left. I got out bed and sprinted down the hallway but i was like moving slow motion, as soon as i got the living room i collapsed on the floor out of breath like i ran 4 miles.

On the real tho that ghost shit is real, as soon as you mentioned that whispering thing of a bunch of voices i knew its the same thing that happened to me but my story was slightly different like i remember this one time, first paranormal experience ive had there, it was in my old apartments in dallas thats by a morgue next to a grave yard so maybe thats got something to do with it but we moved there to be closer to my school, anyways so im in my room chillin im just lying down and i was rubbing my right eye and i kinda pressed in on it and all of a sudden the vision in my left eye that was open got all static-y like you know when youre just about to fall asleep and it felt like it to cause my body was starting to relax too and all of a sudden i starting hearing a fuck ton of different voices just saying things and laughing and out of both eyes i started seeing some crazy ass faces and i just got shook for a second and i had to just jerk myself (not like that) to force myself to move and i snapped out of it but i was like wtf and i didnt realize what was happening until i noticed that the sound i was hearing was actually voices and right then i saw the faces but yeah that shit was crazy, and thats just the first story i got from that place.

this is so odd that you mentioned black shadow figures, i recently moved into a new apt on the west side of houston,tx kind of an inexpensive place considering most renting prices in my area but i’ve noticed myself some late nights on rare occasions i have seen a black shadow figure standing by my bed room doorframe and or kitchen(this apt complex has been around since the early 80’s). i’ve yet to notice any top hat because of how subconsciously my mind wants to shut out seeing such a figure in the first place. started using holy water and other simple methods to keep the air clean. i still have my own doubts on the subject but i think i agree with your theory of us all being a part of a major matrix.

There is a science about this. About the sleep paralysis thing, your brain is half awake, while the reticulated substance (which is a part of the system that keeps your movement to a minimum while you sleep, so you don't hurt yourself - sleepwalking people have issues with this system, for example) is still working its effect, so basically you can't move, even if you're awake. You hear voices because your brain can't process auditory signals and you see shadow people because your brain tries making something of any shadow and lighting, trying to link it to something familiar; same with your hearing. You saying "Jesus" is kind of a way to wake you up completely and that's how the "demons" disappear. Ghost sightings and uneasiness in some places can be linked to infrasounds. Natural occurrences of these are earthquake sounds (animals hear these consciously, people can't) or tiger roars, to name a few. Basically people have evolved to somewhat process these as dangers to trigger your "run away" response, so that's your sensation. Horror movies play these as a background noise as a trick, to make you even more scared. Tl;dr : basically your brain has these survival mechanisms embedded in it that you can't detect consciously, but you do subconsciously. Therefore you trying to make something of it gives these phenomena. Or these are just demons typing through me, could be just as well. No one would know.

The Shadow People: I don't think it was the house because that has happened to me too. The last three times that it happen I was lying on the floor and woke up to someone holding me down it was a big shadow. The other I couldn't move and saw a shadow sitting on the sofa looking at me. And the last one, I woke up and my room was all red and the ceiling was full of upsidedown chairs. I could hear a bassy hum coming from the hallway then my door open I could sense something was coming I just started to say in my mind "In the name of Jesus Christ I fear no evil, for he's my savior and protector I fear no evil." I have always screamed that in my mind and it will go away. That last one I was afraid to go to sleep for days. I am also not religious but spiritual and my birthday is on Sep 2 (Virgo) as well.
