I remember hearing stories about Titus; he was a drummer and when he made a decision to play the organ and keys people literally laughed at him and discouraged him from even trying. Aren’t you glad he had enough gall to do what he knew he desired and what God had gifted him to do! Look at how many lives this man has impacted and blessed! My dad, Samuel Toomer, play drums for decades in Louisville, KY and Titus was one of the young men who watched my dad play. I love seeing videos of him and even of his gifted sisters, Neicy and Joy! Their position in music is a direct result of a very sweet and God fearing mother’s upbringing.

I'm weighing in late on this, but until you walk in another man's element, they bible says to speak that which you know and testify to what you see. I've known Titus since he was a child and only played Hezekiah Walker's 'I'll Fly Away' in Eflat. So to hear him now makes me double proud and grateful to God for the opportunity to pour into his life only to have him pour into my life at one of the worst times of my life. So to Gage a man's humility on the lack of concern he has for your comments, shows a lack thereof. Talent can take you where your character won't keep you, and for the last 20+ years both have taken him above and beyond expectations! And whenever he came home HE took time to come visit me IN PRISON, and when I got out (6.3.13) he clothed, fed, and put a roof over my head, AND GOT ME A JOB! According to the Word of God, if WE'RE NOT doing that 'WE ain't doing nothin but makin NOISE ANYWAY'. I was restored BY HIM in the spirit of meekness (humility) and I'm a personal witness to his humility and the fact that he thanks you for your critiquing his playing is an act of the ultimate humility, because the OLD TITUS would hunt you down FOR LESS!...SHONUFF! I've heard it said that experience is the best teacher, but seeing that all of his experience still has him lacking, it is my belief that OBSERVATION would be more to his benefit in being taught. So please, by ALL means bless us with the correct way to follow Evangelist Ross who so skillfully utilizes anointed creativity to bless our souls. Also, being a bilateral amputee, Titus didn't take any excuses from me concerning my craft and music ministry, so I would be honored for any suggestions, critiques, and/or criticisms you might have for me. I love you Titus Robertson whether you play the organ or not! OH, and I look forward to your suggestions! BLESSINGS Y'ALL!!

Sometimes talented folk do too much to show their skill that they forget to do the job correctly. Ppl forget the power of simplicity and lose the song that rings in ppl heart. Am I the only one who noticed no move of the spirit? Attention seeking will do it every time. It's more about her than the music. Once you reach that point you have failed at your job.

But its funny that Inspite of all of the problems you find in me as a musician Im still blessed with opportunities to travel with and record with some of the best gospel artist in the industry. They haven't complained and publicly posted there criticism about me on youtube but instead they have encouraged me personally and also on there album credits. @Earnest Tremble you actually helped me with your post. It has helped me to not B so critical to other musicians. ok, Back to WORK I go

Titus Robertson Man you’re nice! Keep doing your thing. Let those who don’t have positive constructive criticism fall to the background. Doing you is what got you to this point. The only thing I can say that may be considered “Negative” is when you were playing for Amber “Thank You” once the band came in you could’ve fell back a little. Other than that you aren’t anything short of amazing!

I am!! Nikki has perfect pitch! She wasn't intimated by him she's a very skilled musician as well as singer! At the end of the day of them are beasts. She never changed keys. In Major keys skilled singers have tendency to go back and forth in the relative minor. However with Titus he seemed to be in E flat concrete he was kinda in it but not really, that's why she told him to stop playing! Their both awesome though

Ok, I have no opinion on the playing because I'm no musician, and I dont know either of you (Earnest or Titus) but I just want to say that we throw the word "haters" around loosely. The other guy gave his opinion of the playing and that was just that, I don't know if he was necessarily "hating" on you... I think folks take negative criticisms as hating. Criticisms are just criticism, you can take them or leave them. But anyway, continue to be blessed and keep doing what God has called you to do

Im sorry but Nikki tries to do too much! the organist didn't know where to go. That's not his fault, yet, people might say that he needed to stay with her. In My opinion, she was all over the place. We all know she can sing, but sing with a purpose, sing unto God like she did with 'Great is Thy Faithfulness", and don't try to out do the musicians smh...Its not a game.
@venoldjohnson69099 жыл бұрын
+Richard Jackson There has to be a balance to that though...Nikki can get a little....wayward with the vocals...but the truth is...she can get on them keys herself and thats probably best....the BEST musician can't read minds....now some musicians and singers develop chemistry over the years where a musician may not know exactly where a singer is going but has some idea of how to pad behind them until they do............

organist is done.... He needs to develope a pocket and learn how to follow singers without moving so much. Its cool to do all the movements when you know where the singer is going.... If he would have stuck to playing the song like its written he would'nt have gotten lost.... you look stupid when the singer has to give you numbers..... Learn to Follow
