The Irondale Cafe in Irondale has great Southern comfort food. It’s in Irondale of course, located about 20 miles from Birmingham. The book ‘Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe” was inspired by this cafe. Best fried green tomatoes ever…all kind of delish Southern dishes.
