I was randomly thinking of my childhood and when I was a little kid and hearing Nikki's "I Believe" song during the Olympics so came on her channel. Her voice is still Beautiful. I'm glad she's doing well and still making music!

I hear Ella Fitzgerald and of course Astrid Gilberto, in Nikki's vocals and delivery. On the album even some Billie Holiday and Diahann Caroll come to mind. This is not to take away from her own unique and beautiful vocal qualities and phrasing. This is an exceptional release by Nikki Yanovsky. Style and sophistication are in her genes - a rarity found in anybody these days. Integrity of musicianship over commercialisation is evident here too. Although I hope it sells in the millions. If by chance in a million, and Nikki reads this comment would you please help me remember the word for the style of these video shoots. A parisian flavour is there but there is more and I can't think of the word. I know Audrey Hepburn had 'it' in abundance and it is a quality and way of being in which someone holds and composes themself with grace, class but also humility.

So SULTRY and Seductive... French female Vocalists seem to Capture me, but NIKKI is "too Good to be True"! In fact, she's SO INCREDIBLE, it almost makes me feel Guilty!
