This is what I love about Nikkie, she's not afraid to act upon criticism instead of disregarding it completely. Tutorials may have been overdone in the past but his video was like a breath of fresh air on her channel. She even switched up some products to make it more affordable for her viewers. She pretty much did everything right with this video (but probably should've linked one of her past brow tutorials to clear up any confusion). All in all, keep it up queen! I feel like a cool idea would be to make a mini-tutorial series where each “episode” focuses on one aspect of makeup. One episode could be “bronzer/contour” and you really go in depth on that (shades, brushes, where on the face to place it, etc). I'd like to see a tutorial series that goes in depth about certain steps of a full make-up look. So, one video all about your foundation and concealer. How to make it work for different skin types, how to prolong the wear of it. How you can touch up during the day. But also, different variations from full-glam to office appropriate. I'd also like to see more about contouring your face for different face shapes. Same for eye make-up for different eye-shapes. Also, maybe you can have some models on your channel to showcase this on a different face shapes and complexions? I know you love the full coverage and full glam looks but in all honesty I'd like to see you branch out more and step a little bit away from the instagram trend. I agree. It would be great if she found different people with different skin types to sort-of do an experiment. For example, someone with acne prone skin: how does make up wear on them throughout the day, what type of foundation, concealer, etc. goes best for them. To be honest I was happy to see a lot of challenges on your channel, it didn't bother me because I think everyone should do whatever they enjoy doing, but I very much respect the fact that you also listen to what other subscribers want because it means that you care about your subscribers. Okay, James is a great make up artist but he's not a teacher. Like I've observed Nikkie and Jaclyn( when she actually uploads) go really in-depth as to what exactly to do and not do. I find that aspect really missing in James, like he does great looks but can an amateur re create it? Probably not.

I agree but not completely, James doesn't really make his videos for people to follow them, he sort of makes them for entertainment. But you are very correct, he has admitted that he has not gone to beauty school, so even though, he is good at makeup, but yes, he does not go in depth as in what to do when creating the makeup look.
