2 months ago I reach out to a brand and asked them if there it was ok for me to sell their products on Amazon. They told me it’s fine only if I list the products for the price they give me or over. This is my method

Its always a little bit of information that just goes a long ways! In this video you mention getting a QR code for IP Alert. I seriously never knew they had a QR code till now. Downloaded it and its working on my Android. No more finding out when I get home with the purchase hopefully. I am a newer seller and had one complaint already. I am terrified of getting another as a new seller.

I've gotten 6 IP counterfeit complaints in less than 1 year. I've sent in all of my TJMaxx receipts and so far only 2 has been retracted. It's weird how some people get a lot and others don't. It's pretty frustrating but I'm still going.

This just happened to me , an sen my receipt and Amazon will keep the IP alert for 180 days 😔

@@lizplancarte2737 Yea I talked to one of their employees. He said as long as you address it with them they won’t shut down your account. They’ll just keep it for 180 days. He also said he had other people who had hundreds of IP alerts and their accounts are still up so he said it wasn’t a big deal. Just make sure you respond to them quickly.

For that IP app... Who is putting the warnings up on the app? If it's sellers.. I would guess that some of them would say it is an IP alert but really isn't. Just to keep the other sellers away.

Are there any other listings that you can use. Did you already try typing in title of product to see if there is another listing you can use? Or scan the front of item instead of UPC code…. Just incase you can use another listing?

I feel that for newbies it is good to know because I had no idea about it and I was so eager to start. I scanned so much at Ross and finally found a product and bought all three they have. I listed them and I got IP complain the next day. I was scared and frustrated because I didn’t understand. Now I know and can move forward being more careful. If it is helpful to others the brand is AudioCore from the company iWorld.

Hey nikki whats your advice if amazon sent a policy warning stating someone reported me for patent infringement. If I've been selling for 6 months and I see at least 100 sellers selling the same product with the same design. I sent the email o the rights owner asking for retraction and reached out to amazon through phone support but nothing has changed they keep saying to email for retraction but I haven't got any response from the rights owner. I wish yo continue selling the product

Hi Nikki. This week I received my first IP Letters (two). Came in the mail USPS and the other came through Amazon's messages. Neither were directly from Amazon. Are these examples of what you were talking about when you have to make your own judgment call? If I received it through the messages section of Seller Central that's not considered being "from Amazon" is it? When I go into account health, my IP complaint records still show zero. Thanks

Some brands will do this or send cease and desist letter fe vorys law firm. It’s very easy to see which brands do ip via Keepa, stay off listings that have huge drops in sellers say going from 20 sellers to 1 in one day, only one brand selling. Also some sellers will try to bully you into getting off the listing. As long as you don’t get something from Amazon you’re good but definitely be wary sad if you actually get that letter definitely hop off the listing and move on

In the video PAUL'S 'UNGATED GROUP' POST: He mentions he hasn't sold anything yet but invested in your training and got ungated in all categories. I see a bundle pack of getting ungated for sale - thanks for doing that!.... I'm just trying to 'see the steps in my head': Paul bought the Ungating videos/info, got ungated AND also joined the 'Ungated Group' for a monthly fee...and so now he's ready to put the pedal to the metal. Hi Nikki, I NEED YOUR HELP! I got two IP alert this week. When I scanned both products on Seller Amp two weeks ago it was all green no IP alert or whatsoever and I was able to get approved selling the product. Sent the first product the end of December and last Friday, I got the the first IP alert. There's a message that my account is at risk of deactivation. The reason was counterfeit without a test buy. I responded to email and sent my receipt and also email the rightful owner. Today, I woke up with one more IP alert. I sent the other product last week. I got an email back from Amazon that they can't relist my items back which is fine with me but I am afraid that they will deactivate my account. PLEASE HELP ME! My heart is beating really fast everytime I open my seller account because I afraid that I will be able to open it if they deactivate it. I appreciate any help!
