@@lucianaquesada2220 Stefan goes there and sacrifice himself, that makes them die together. It supposed to be damon, yet Stefan still sacrificed. It was hurtful, Stefan wouldn't necessarily go there If Damon will be there since he loves his brother and since Stefan doesn't want Damon to leave Elena. But he also loves Katherine. What are they talking about? Dying together.

The reason why Stefan was more forgiving of Katherine was because one she said later on she favored him over his Brother another reason is that Katherine was more helpful and apologetic towards him those two reasons are why Stefan was more forgiving towards her it would have been the other way around had she been that way towards Damon instead of Stefan

I don't necessarily think Stefan forgave Katherine because she preferred him over Damon, I think it was because he saw the fact that he was the only person who she truly loved, you could tell Stefan and Katherine had a different kind of love, Stefan always held up to her, which explains why he went after Elena, that's just what I think, Stefan always had a special place for her in his heart 'till she jumped into Elena's body

I think the only reason he was able to forgive her was that she passed well in his love ideology than Elena. The major reason he was so angry at Katherine was because she played with hearts of two brothers and didn’t know whom she loved. Elena on the other hand seemed adamant of feelings and refused to be like Katherine. However when he saw that up ahead Elena is the one who ends up unable to make up her mind between two brother and Katherine is the one who ends being loyal to one man in her heart is what made him forgive her. We can say Stefan is “soft” when it comes to love. He can rather wait for several years with the assurance of sincere love than encounter several loves that’ll come along the way.
