Simply beautiful and raw. No auto-tune...no gimmicks. So many of today's "love songs" are lacking..and are certainly not TIMELESS such as the songs of yesterday TEENA MARIE, RICK JAMES, COMMODORES, ANITA BAKER, JEFFREY OSBOURNE to name a few...RIP.

this lady right here!!! tears tears and more tears!! I love the fact that we cant hear the music accompaniment. all we can focus on the singer's voice, intonation, the many high notes and how effortlessly she fluidly moves from octave to octave!!!

When Teena first came out it was without a pic on he album....everyone thought she was Black...including me. Then the truth appeared and we embraced her even more. This woman can "SANG". She is definitely in the catergory with Arethra, Stephanie Mills, Patti LaBelle Gladys Knight and the likes. Lady T...Vanilla Child you were one of the best ma.

Thank-you Ms. Woods for this video treat of our LADY TEE showing us all that she was the original and soul-wrenching real deal. I'm so sorry I never got to see her in concert but Thank THE CREATOR she left behind a huge volume of work. She does look like a woman who was feeling the effects of all the medical stuff she was going through but she carried on like the trooper she was. Looking forward to her new CD "ICON" coming out in February 2011 after hearing the brilliant " CONGO SQUARE " .
